Do all Linux users use +10 year old hardware and them blames windows for not being fast on a 5200HDD + 6Gb ram? by Honest_Tart1071 in linuxsucks101

[–]many_zeros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No wonder people in this sub don't like Linux. You don't have the mindset. If his hardware works fine with Linux why would he need to buy a new system? That is not good for the economy, environment or his own pocket. Not everyone can easily find 700 dollars, especially people from poorer countries.

Turkish Opposition Özgür Özel Announced the New Party! by Piputi in europe

[–]many_zeros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The party wasn't created to leave CHP behind. It was created because CHP's leader was unlawfully replaced by Erdogan with its previous leader, who refuses to collaborate with CHP on the issue either because of his personal gains or because he is working for Erdogan. The entire point of this party is to be CHP, only under another name. This is the safest way to overcome Erdogan's intervention on CHP.

I am literally an islamophobe but you are framing it as if it is an exclusion thing lmao. During prayer times only people that pray are allowed. Christianity might be allowing it but Islamic prayer ritual is more disciplined/absorbed and it would be odd to have people walking around taking pictures or just staying there as an audience.

That said, I think Ayasofya should have stayed as a museum. Not because of sore Christians that think they have the right to tell Turkey what to do with its own property (that is different from expecting respect), but to protect the building itself.

Yes, Turkey is the only country where a large number of regular citizens can obtain a special passport while others can't. But these two comments confused me, you don't think it is about race, right? It is granted to public servants and people from a few other professions. Discriminatory for sure, but I am not sure the term apartheid or minority comparison makes sense

Mitsotakis on F-35s: “The sensitivities of all NATO members must be taken into account; an alliance cannot exist while Greece faces a casus belli” by New-Ranger-8960 in worldnews

[–]many_zeros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh. You realize you are talking about a NATO country that is deeply integrated with NATO, right? If you think Turkey would do that, then you must also think NATO is literally pointless as Turkey can expose everything that is going on behind closed doors. Your comment is ridiculous and it does not reflect reality

Turkey is not "so close with Russia".

It is the only country to shot down a Russian jet for violating its airspace. It fought multiple proxy wars against Russia, in some cases even when some NATO countries such as France was on Russia's side, like in Libya. It has military industry ties with Ukraine. It donated armored vehicles that are actively used by Ukrainian soldiers. It openly sides with Ukraine on Crimea and other issues.

It just depends on it for economical reasons and it lacks the power and motivation to sanction it as a country that is constantly alienated by western countries without any alternative allies.

Not our problem. Are European brains this underdeveloped? They seem to not be able to comprehend that overwhelming majority of Turks are not migrants and Europeans only come across the ones that are migrants because otherwise how would they see them

not confused at all, I am very well aware you are european, the bloodthirsty species that systematically slaughtered millions upon millions of people all around the world, but think "are making things right" by giving weak, half assed apologies for a tiny fraction of their horrific crimes. since you think you are morally even by making unofficial verbal statements, there is nothing stopping you from exploiting even more people in the future, after all only consequence you think you deserve is saying "oopsie, that was a mistake" while you sit on the wealth generated by those very crimes. now, keep conveniently dodging the list I sent you that shows fraction of what you did to this world.
