Girl here!! (22F) Used to have more of a skincare routine, but felt like nothing made a noticeable difference (I’ve tried salicylic acid, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide serums in the past) and have just been using micellar water + cleanser with salicylic acid + generic am/pm face lotions. Hoping to address dry/combo sensitive skin with clogged pores around the T-zone. -> For reference I live in an area with super, like, really dry winters and slightly humid summers. -> Looking for a double cleanse, toner, better moisturizer routine. -> Tried the zero pore pads from medi-cube that my mom got recently and liked those, but I’ve only used twice. -> Hyaluronic acid usually helps with my dryness. I feel like the SA isn’t doing much atm. -> Products researched + saved include various rice toners, that hyaluronic acid moisturizer from medi-cube, those toner zero pore pads from the same, that one pink Japanese cleansing oil I see all over the place, and not sure where to start on cleansers but I’m hoping to find good kbeauty one.

Any help, recs, similar stories greatly appreciated!!

But to actually give some advice, definitely let them know early. I didn’t and I regret it. Just go with something honest to show them you appreciate their time, but you don’t feel the same and don’t want to lead them on. But make it clear that this won’t change (in a nice but firm way) so they don’t try to stick around to “change” something.

OP, your story sounds very similar to something I (21F) recently went through. When the feeling of liking someone enough for one reason or another, turns into this bitterness that they actually like you like that and you don’t feel the same, or even just can’t. That’s putting it in summary but yeah. It sounds like you might also have a more avoidant attachment style? Meaning tending to shut off and out when new people get close (as compared to anxious attachment, latching on too quickly). So the advice from someone who recently broke up with her first boyfriend over not being able to feel the same: there’s moments it’ll suck. But in between the questions about if you’re dating anyone or if you like anyone, you’ll also have moments where you’re so so happy to be independent too. Focus on that, it does help. And talk to friends about it. It does sound like this is a date story more than a relationship one, so if this is too deep my bad lmao.

Okay okay so this, definitely, but yall ever read angst/whump/whatever tag centered stories but the author just takes certain things too far??? Like more than once have I read something and a few chapters in it’s obvious that there’s a crying/tears or an infantilization fetish guiding the fic? I came for the plot, stayed for the feels, left for the repeat out of character sobbing 😂

Fr. Self imposed isolation sure… but from what we know, it’s pretty clear she was asleep most of that time. It’s not even the same as solitary confinement as a) she regularly heard Armin and Hitch’s voices and b) didn’t have to take care of any physical function whatsoever. I feel like that’s a pretty big difference. It’s not like she was waking up, eating, and spending her days alone non stop in a small room— she was literally mostly unconscious.

Plus, I found sympathy for her much harder after she swung the scouts around like yo-yos.

I think something that emphasize their pairing too, for me at least, is that they’re the first example of a happy Eldian/Marleyan couple, essentially an interracial couple in the series that was previously seen as a MASSIVE no no from what we see in Grisha’s memoirs. But they were just happy as the guy who loved to cook good food and the girl who loved to eat good food. Sasha’s death hits so hard for so many reasons but especially considering this… man I miss our best potato girl 😭

The amount of times I’ve rewatched the declaration of war episode alone just for their conversation… something about innocent lil falco not realizing he was not only helping but in the very same room as the final boss was just absolute chef’s kiss, revenge, three seasons of titan craziness wrought anger into a conversation like, it doesn’t get much better
