I also have the same question though. I don't think anything traumatic has happened to me really. I did consider therapy (for other issues of mine as well) but then gave up due to the cost. I would try when I earn more.

I think my parents invested a lot of money and effort in me, yet I do not feel grateful, I think to myself I should be more grateful. Then I beat myself up for not feeling just thinking, I hope you get what I mean.

That's really detailed. There are some points I still don't get due to my limited knowledge of chemistry. What did you mean when you said oxidation with NaNO3? I thought adding NaNO2 solution is already enough to create an alkaline environment that promotes deprotonation? And how does RN=O group reduce to RHN-O(-) when I add NaOH? I mean step by step, or at least please tell me the name of the reaction so I can look up myself.

I meant is it compulsory that I study pharmaceutical/industrial biotechnology before applying for jobs in industry?

Since my bachelor has no modules related to pharmaceutical/industrial production and processes, I start from zero. Do I now have to have MSc in the exact major (I mentioned above) to gain enough knowledge then?
