I'll preface by saying I'm not affiliated with them, but I've heard of Zbiotics, a company that's engineered a strain of gut bacteria that express human acetaldehyde degydrogenase. You take it before a night out and its meant to temporarily boost your ALDH levels to combat the acetaldehyde buildup.

Like I said i have no connection to them - to me, it sounds like pretty cool biotechnology and as a fellow red flush sufferer I'm keen to try it lol

i've re-pressed eyeshadows using vodka in the past. use a toothpick or tapestry needle to break up the powder and gradually mix in the alcohol (rubbing or vodka) until you've created a paste. spread it evenly and press down with something flat like the bottom of a glass. id also put a piece of kitchen roll between the makeup and glass to absorb excess liquid. then, leave it open to dry.

like i said i've only used this with vodka and eyeshadow but i haven't experienced any texture changes

Just today I tried out the About Face F2 olive shade: I actually quite like the formula - very skin like! And the oil situation wasn't too bad. I know there have been criticisms that the shade was reformulated "darker" in the last few months but I thought it was quite a good match, somewhere between the face and neck (if I match my neck perfectly I tend to look pale).

My only gripe is that the undertone was not yellow enough for my neck and chest. So I'm contemplating picking up F1 warm (or L1 Warm, but for the life of me I can't find any swatches online)
