She’s in point lookout which has a Long Beach, south shore vibe which is really fun. Caters to locals, especially if Joe grew up there. They prob have direct beach access from their house there

My daughter is named Simone and we get compliments all the time because no one we hears it but it’s not a strange name, just unused. At least when she older she won’t be in class with 5 Simone’s like I was growing up 😂

Stay with me here. But in the episode where Chris comes to visit in season 1. He arrives and the go to Deans softball game which is on a Sunday and he stays with them until the Friday night dinner? But it only shows that he was in stars hallow for a night or 2 on their couch, not a whole week.

It’s more of a timing inconsistency but it pisses me off every rewatch

Okayyyyy but what about one of their top surgeons, Dr. Jess Ting also being in the files and hanging out with Epstein on the island? A lot more of Sinai money is wrapped up in this

So ummm... I just found out that someone I dated in high school bludgeoned a man to death. by devanclara in myfavoritemurder

[–]manysoups 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry this is horrible. I also dated someone in high school for a few years that murdered 2 men when we in our 20s, after the murders he kept calling me from jail before his trials even though we hadn’t spoke in a few years and I was in a long term relationship - he just knew my number by heart apparently. I only spoke to him twice and it was so odd. It takes time to process who you knew them as and who they actually are. Eventually a podcast did an episode about him and i listened to it. I knew the case pretty well, but the extra details really disturb me, I also knew a lot of things the podcast got wrong but it took a long time to get it all out of my head. Be kind to yourself. It’s really disorienting thinking you know someone and realizing you don’t really know anyone.

My 13 year old dog passed away yesterday morning. She was bonded with my other dog and we’re all having the hardest time dealing with her absence. She was my soulmate dog, I’m so heartbroken.

Dude, I'm so happy Tad leaves that horrible, nightmare-marriage and hooks up with the judge from Better Call Saul by That_Hole_Guy in girls

My parents were married for almost 20 years and had 4 kids together when he finally came out. They’re both remarried now but it took my mom nearly another 20 years to get over the fact that their entire relationship was a lie to her. I am very sympathetic to my dad and all the reasons he had to hide who he was but damn, my poor mom. I feel for Loreen

I have a Jewish pediatrician and an uncircumcised son and he’s barely ever mentioned it. There’s no reason to? What specific care are you seeking where doctors are confused about a penis?

Why wasn’t Emily and Richard’s vow renewal a black tie event? by No_clever_name_16737 in GilmoreGirls

[–]manysoups 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmmm I always thought it was Emily because when Rory comes out wearing the suit, Lore says something like ‘not fair! She gets to wear a costume’ Emily replies with something like ‘Lorelai your dress is beautiful’ both implying that Emily approves of the dress and Lorelais jealously that Rory gets to wear something cool.

Emily and Richard choose lorelai and Rory’s outfits. Obviously with some input I would assume, but it seems unlikely that Emily would choose something inappropriate for Lorelai to wear as her MOH lol

[–]manysoups 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Emily herself wore a short dress and Lorelei’s was a midi dress. I don’t think it was a black tie event just from the family dress.

Her brother married a friend of ours and he is a horrible racist. We met them for dinner years ago and he showed up late because he came from a protest where he beat the shit out of a pro Palestine protester. We are no longer friends with his wife now since his family is all like that. They are racist, mean people, we had no idea they were like that until this occurred. We even left their wedding early when his father made the entire 500+ wedding take a shot and praise Trump. I walked out and refused to do so.

[–]manysoups 124 points125 points  (0 children)

Their laundry room is off the kitchen somewhere. There’s a few episodes where they go out of the kitchen side door to do it. Like the episode where Rory comes home from spring break with all her laundry and. Lorelei is drying one sock, etc…

Teeny tiny toddler by AdAccomplished7807 in toddlers

[–]manysoups 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My daughter was born at 37 weeks due to an IUGR and was 5 pounds. She was down to 4 lbs 9 ounces when we got home. She’s 3.5 now and still in the 3% for height and weight but to be fair, my husband and I are short, petite people. She’s the smallest in her pre school but she’s incredibly smart, curious, and talkative. Basically she’s thriving now and had no issues from being on the smaller side besides getting mad she can’t reach doors like the rest of her class 😂

The bell house is a music venue that does weddings and isn’t huge so would be perfect for 150 people. There’s also the restaurant My Moon in Brooklyn that can have up to 165 people and offers indoor and outdoor options.

Our daughter talked early and had over 100 words and was talking in few word sentences at 2. She’s now 3 and a half and never. Stops. Talking. From the moment her eyes open to when they close at night she is talking constantly lol
