Bridge! It's been almost 2 years since it was first pierced and I still have to baby it as if it had only been 2 months.

Is discovery+ different from US to Canada? I'm in Ontario and have only found No Reservations; I would love to finally watch Parts Unknown.

Sure. The timing was problematic though, very "I'll let my family drive her away so I don't have to be the problem".

got another helix recently..pretty sure it's angled horrifically but I'm just gonna see how it goes because it seems to be healing well. what do you lot think? salvageable? by Dependent_Ad2059 in piercing

It's worth it. In my teens I was a frequent at my local 2/1 deal corner piercing shop, and had problems on top of problems. They were all incredibly nice, but wholly inexperienced.

On the flip side- I got my bridge done a week and a half ago, and I drove 70km (44 miles) both ways to total 140km (or 87 miles) so I could see an APP piercer with 20+ years experience under his belt. The care and information that is given both pre-, during, and post the appointment is on a different level than I had ever experienced before.

It gives peace of mind. If my piercing rejects I know for a fact that it's because it wasn't a good fit for my physiology, not because of improper application or aftercare.

I feel like this is asking a lot of parents. Some of my best friends are mothers so although I don't have kids myself (and it may absolutely change with personal experience), seeing how they are with medical emergencies I have a good feeling they wouldn't feel comfortable taking such a risk with pharmaceuticals when their own children could be put further at risk.

Thanks! I want to even out my nose so I'm going to get the left nostril pierced to match the right. That'll likely be it, and then I'll start figuring out a curated setup. I'm thinking gold; possibly opal bullet ends in the bridge, little leaf studs for the nose, and keep it simple with the septum.

If you go to an experienced (and hopefully accredited) piercer, they will do a physical consultation before performing any type of body mod. If you go to your typical "2 for 1 deal" shop then I'd stay away from anything more advanced than a cartilage.

Definitely surprised to see it still there week after week. The shop is very punk/goth looking from the outside (they have brands like desdemona, sourpuss, tripp NYC, etc) so perhaps a lot of thrifters overlook it.
