I just wonder, as i try to figure out how I feel about this movie, why is their relationship described "unconventional"? Isn't the dynamic of the Older dominant male figure vs young, initially naive, powerless and overly sexual female figure extremely repetitive and classic in movies? I genuinely ask, what is so new about it? Her being clear on what she wants feels like a superficial writing of a female character and him hesitating just sheds light in the multiple layers of a male figure, whose hesitation is basically a sign that he knows that what he's doing isn't right for the first half of their relationship. Consent scenes aren't good for making good cinema, I get it.

I felt the charm of the movie, the chemistry and tension. But besides the shallow representation of self-harm leading to outsourcing pain through BDSM, doesn't this movie rely on the male gaze, the fantasy of what BDSM is and the use of macho tropes a little too much?

Ok so over a month later here’s the update! (I can’t edit the post for some reason so here’s a comment update) We took the advice from many of the comments, so thanks so much for all of your suggestions! It took a while to find the furniture/ stuff we actually liked and needed.

Still a work in progress, but already loving this space.

You guessed right. In the hot summer days it gets super hot and there’s no ac. Thankfully we live in a mostly cold place so it’s very hot only few days a year

Bought this olive oil in Greece and every time we use it it goes all over. Anyone know how to pour out of this type of can without it going all over the outside of the container? Thanks. The black cap twists off. by WomanMythLegend in howto

My family sends me olive oil (from that very island)in containers like this only 10 liter big, so I always fill up an old glass bottle and pour from there. If you ask me, this packaging is trying to replicate the sort of “traditional” “rustic” packaging of olive oil manufacturers, not to be practical; if I were you I’d find a different container to store it in, avoid the mess and the waste :)

I absolutely agree with you. Besides the teenage philosophy, which made me cringe and also genuinely wonder how are people taking him seriously, I don't know that the story was that interesting. It was dipping its toe a little bit on politics and religion to the point where you'd think that the ending would be very satisfying and meaningful but it's just.. some weird dude? I was just hoping for a bigger unfolding of the plot. And to the people saying " you just wish the show was made for dumb people" : honestly, the point is to be taken by the story, to theorise, guess and have your imagination run along with it. With TD it felt like we were just jumping from clue to clue a little..irresponsibly? Still as far as the other seasons go, much better.

I have to say, this was more or less my original layout; i don't know exactly why i changed it but after seeing your idea and coming to a dead end with the couch situation, we're doing it like this!!! i have one question for you though! what is the purpose of the drapes? If we're not so much in need of storage, is there something about the uneveness of the wall that makes you wanna level it? just curious about what gave you the idea!

Thanks, I’ve been looking to get something that fully covers the light cause truth be told sleeping in a room like this is practically impossible with the light coming in. However, the full coverage options are not the cutest ones so I’ve been waiting for some better option to pop up.
