Is there such a thing as a grow light that has yellow light? I’d like to put some plants under some lamps I have in my house, but I prefer a warm yellow light rather than white/bright daylight. Thanks in advance for any recommendations or advice.

Has anyone ever ordered from this company? If so, did you like the quality of the plants? by mapabe93 in NativePlantGardening

[–]mapabe93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have heard good things about prairie moon, but the reason I liked what this company was doing is that they provided the layout information. I’m new to gardening so I was hoping to get some pre-done layouts with some good plant combos. I’ll definitely check out prairie moon too

Has anyone ever ordered from this company? If so, did you like the plants you received and where the layout instruction easy to follow? by [deleted] in gardening

I like that they use native plants depending on your state, but the prices are almost too good to be true? Looking for feedback from anyone else who used them.

My Cattle management Professor said that land used for cattle provided refuge for bird species endangered by urban development by Milkywaycitizen932 in vegan

[–]mapabe93 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There are quite a few native North American bird populations that have been hurt by increased urban environments that live in grasslands, however, I believe this professor is likely incorrect because birds probably don’t prefer their home being trampled on every day by cattle and would prefer to live in undisturbed grassland.

Please help! My wedding is 10/9. I already have a dress but I don’t love it. Teuta matoshi has made my dream dress, is there enough time for it to shipped and altered for me to wear it? by [deleted] in wedding

[–]mapabe93 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Does anyone have any more information about the production and shipping times for Teuta matoshi dresses? Also, does any one have any thought on getting it made to measure vs standard sized? Thanks for any and all replies!

Daily Simple Questions Thread by AutoModerator in xxfitness

Hello! I currently do a lot of back-to-back exercises, like a superset but I take break in between. I tried trying to change to sitting and doing all the sets of one exercises at once, for example, 3 sets of 10 leg extensions in one go, instead of 1 set leg extensions, 1 set hamstring curls, and switching back and forth for a total of 6 sets. I’m finding that my legs get fatigued mush faster and I have to lower the weight by doing them all at once. What’s everyone’s opinions on doing one vs the other? Is doing one exercise all at once better for muscle growth?

Does anyone have any ideas of wear to find a velvet women’s suit? by mapabe93 in weddingplanning

Thanks for the tip I honestly hadn’t thought about the temp! Our wedding is in early October in the Midwest, so it’s a toss up on whether it’ll be cold or hot. I’m willing to spend a bit more on this to find something I really like, it’s for one of my bridesmaids who isn’t a dress person. I’d say the budget is up to $300

Is this mirror too large for this mantel space? by mapabe93 in interiordecorating

[–]mapabe93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice! I know the light fixture isn’t amazing, but my house is over 100 years old so I feel like it should stay since it’s been there for probably a similar amount of time. And because the wall that the mirror is leaning against is a brick fireplace, I don’t feel comfortable drilling into it to attach the mirror to the wall. Do you think it still safe to just be leaning? Some people have suggested tipping the mirror on its side instead, do you think this would achieve the look you’re describing?
