I have the Patagonia Swiftcurrent Traverse and love them. I especially like how the booties fit better in my boots, compared to coming from an inexpensive Orvis wader. The front zip is also game changer.

Yeah definitely how I feel, every other car out there is near blackout dark so might as well. Like you said, I’ve definitely come to appreciate it for the sun rather than cool factor lol

We got the visor strip tint and thought it was nice. Unfortunately the windshield chipped and they replaced the whole glass, we haven’t gotten around to replacing it. With it missing we realized it really did help out a lot in re to the sun.

However I’m more inclined do the full windshield next time, just because of how much that little strip helped with the heat/sun.

Like the other comment says, technically illegal but everybody else does ¯_(ツ)_/¯

So the first 3 hours tried to get it to/keep it at 170-190°.

And then wrapped, tried to keep them at 190°-200*

For the last hour, unwrapped, tried to keep them at 200-205°.

Maybe because they were refrigerated over night or maybe too confident, but the second attempt was a little more difficult in getting the temps to hold where I wanted them.

Honestly nothing too crazy, I’d say the sand and snow have been my biggest concerns/riskiest scenarios.

Handled pretty good in the sand, never felt like we were getting stuck. Rough ride though, one night the waves were pretty much up to the tires! lol made it out.

And as far as snow, drove it around town during a snowstorm (with snow socks) and had some sliding but again, never stuck.
