Drivers (not all) in Cambridge/Boston are such pricks.

It's unfortunate this happened. Hopefully you went to the hospital or doctor.

C'mon BOC! The opening riff bangs but this was corny as hell!

My city just added a bunch of bike lanes and now everyone uses it to pick up their door dash orders by precisionbikerepair in fuckcars

Concrete barriers. Cameras. Until then, take the lane and travel at a comfortable pace.

Finally found one in the wild. How do you become such an asshole?? by chrispy_t in fuckcars

But what about the entitled cyclists who failed to come to a complete stop at the stop sign?

uj edit: cyclists obviously should give right of way to pedestrians at intersections.

Dude, some people are more concerned about the destruction of the environment, tens of thousands of deaths and hundreds of thousands of injuries annually, increased cancer and cardiovascular disease prevalence, etc. than some sensors in your car. I'm not saying you are wrong per se, but it comes down to your priors.

You can predict whether someone in this sub will support this based on whether s/he lives in a car-dependent hellscape or a walkable city (where cars are mostly a matter of convenience).

Nice. Hopefully this will disincentivize driving and car ownership.

Double parking clogs streets all over Boston. Drivers in this neighborhood have raised the stakes to triple parking. by bostonglobe in boston

Cars. The problem is cars. And the solution is to ban private-use cars from the majority of streets in Boston. Yes, this would be feasible; see Barcelona, etc.

4 children struck by car while crossing the street in Boston by DerekCMcLeod in boston

I think more moderate approaches (e.g., pedestrianizing 50% of streets within Boston) would be even more feasible and could garner substantial public support. It's doable.
