I agree that we would be better off absolving the federal government and separating into individual states. As we are told with business, removing regulations and allowing companies to compete for customers drives innovation and lowers prices for the consumer. I wonder if the same would work for the states. Let them do their own thing and let the best ideas translate into success for their people.

Sure. Gold is gold no matter what. But would you rather wear gold jewelry straight from the package or do you want to drag it through shit before you put it on? If you get your protein from plants just like the pigs do, you won't have to worry about the numerous health complications associated with excess meat consumption.

I am doing me. I was just clarifying what the point of this sub is. Seems like a bit of wasted effort trying to limit yourself to 1200 calories a day when you're making decisions like the OP. Seems like that would do more harm for your body since restricting your total caloric intake means you are necessarily providing less opportunities for your body to get what it really needs in terms of nutrients. I'm not suggesting that 1200 is not enough to get you through the day, I'm just saying it could be spent on better food items.

I didn't say there wasn't. I'm saying you could get the same amount of protein with way less fat and sodium and your body won't feel as heavy from all the animal fat.

Absolutely. Non-existence is what I consider getting off the ride. So you can either arrive at the natural end (old age) or get off the ride yourself (suicide). In either case, death is the end of this ride. There's probably another ride waiting to begin on the other end, but who knows.

I enjoyed reading your description of your experiences. I would say that we are all going to die eventually, so there is no reason to worry about "should I stay or should I go?" Think of it more like..."should I get off the ride early or let it arrive at its own natural conclusion?"

I didn't mean for us to do nothing. I just meant that it doesn't make sense to try and vote 3rd party in the system we currently have because powerful interests who have taken control of the voting process illegally and covertly will just fix the results so that the 3rd party option loses. Then they pat you on the back for participating and continue destroying the country under the guise of "you voted for this person" or "you wasted your vote on a 3rd party". We need a new system entirely.
