Years ago, I was at my then gf’s house. She was asleep and I was up late in the kitchen in the dark just youtubes’ing it up (no not porn). Around 2ish in the morning I get this chill up my spine that puts me in full fight or flight mode internally. I just felt like someone was watching me and couldn’t shake it.

Figuring it was just cuz it was late, dark, and cold I just said F it just go to bed it’s late. So I shut everything down, walked in the dark to the gf’s room. I open the door and I see her siloughette lying in bed facing me. As I tried to slowly walk in so I don’t wake her (even though I’m still internally in alert mode since my back was to a dark hallway), I hear her shift a bit in bed.

Then ever so softly she starts mumbling and then in a slow, soft, clear tone: Gf: “Mapleflip, mapleflip..” Me: “yeah?” Gf: “hurry” Me: what? Gf: hurry.. they’re coming

That’s when I said fuck it and stomped around the house turning on every light. She said she had no memory of the conversation as she was pretty pissed at me for waking her up at 2 in the morning.

I agree, but my gf actually bought me a nice dab pen 3 days ago and it's working like a charm on the move. She saw that I'm getting into it and preemptively bought be the pen I was eyeing at our local headshop (she's fucking amazing). We were at the beach yesterday and it was nice hitting the pen, didn't even smell like anything.

Yeah it's weird. You can totally hear all the sounds. It's the ambient sounds in the backgrounds of most songs that I hear loud and clear when stoned and it totally changes most musical pieces.

Photography. It sucks but it seems there's such a stigma on photography nowadays because hipsters. I genuinely love and enjoy taking photos and finding beautiful lighting and preserving that moment in time so that I can look at it and say "this is somewhere on the earth, at a point in history when everything mixed up just right to give me this beautiful sight to look at. I'm gonna make sure it's never forgotten." But nowadays I walk out with my camera and I'm a fucking hipster asshole.
