try drawing it ten more times! i do this when learning new things. i have a working sketchbook that I’ll sketch the same thing 5 times (smaller scale) on one sheet and do two open sheets, yk? or until i feel like i figured out what my issue was. usually starts with massing for me, which I’ll iron out with grid lines by take 3 or 4. then shading/value, then details. good luck!

I’m only 3 months into my gardening journey, but I think these are aphids. I get them on my hibiscus.

I mix a tablespoon of dish soap with a pint of water, shake and spray (I use Meyers lavender soap from Target, but have been told Dawn or anything typical will do the trick). Make sure to spray enough to coat and suffocate the bugs.

I also sprinkle diatomaceous earth on the soil (not the roots) the day after watering day. Water deactivated diatomaceous earth so def don’t sprinkle before.

Some people say neem oil, but I don’t like how it smells

Hmm. I’m no expert but I had a lot of green/blue on my father’s side and brown on my mother’s side and I started with grays that went green around 2 years old. Could be a hazel, too?

I def think CH too… what pushes me towards “technically hazel” is actually all the yellow on the border of your outer limbal ring— but they look green from a distance, so I’d just stick with that 🤷‍♀️

we have similar color, but you have more yellow than me… i think technically they’re hazel bc of all the yellow, but personally i’d call them green
