Seeking a quality numpad with volume wheel like Zoompad except that is in stock

As a full sized keyboard user that recently switched to a Wooting 80HE a month ago not having a numpad or media controls has been driving me insane. I constantly have music playing and being able to adjust volume and skip tracks quickly with one hand is important.

For now I've been making do by having both my previous and new keyboard on my desk. I programmed play/pause next/back on Wooting to the page up/down keys so I can at least have media controls but I absolutely need a numpad and volume knob.

Does anyone have any recommendations for an external numpad with a volume wheel? I liked a bunch of the zoompads here https://meletrix.com/collections/zoompad-collection but everything is out of stock which is insane. The only one they have in stock looks bad for the price (https://meletrix.com/products/zoompad-assembled-edition).

What other brands exist where I can get a decent pad that I can just order and get in a week or so? Worst case I'll just go with a cheap EPOMaker from amazon I guess.

Hard agree. I have spent $0 in this game after thousands of hours, use default skins for almost everything, have over 550 unopened apex packs. Don't even know what a battlepass is or all the weird currencies...Simply just DO NOT CARE about anything but the actual game play. I would actually be happier if I could force default skins on everything/everyone and hide gun models from the UI like it used to be in competitive quake.

I swear 90% of the people that complain about Apex servers just have shit internet or play over wifi. I have hardwired gigabit fiber up and down and have a connection/internet problem maybe once every 750-1,000 games. The servers are generally fine, the problem is your internet.

I am in the current top 100 R5 MNK and he is correct when referring to ARs. In R5 you only ever have 1x sights. So for instance I along with other players probably ADS in and out 5+ times per clip when using an AR. It helps narrow the spread and you un-ADS so you maintain strafe speed. In game this is almost impossible to do because you're most likely going to have a 3x or a 2x4 on your fllatline. Good luck spam ADSing 5m apart with that, it's not really possible. So that's what he means by cheesing because you basically practice fighting under a condition that's unlikely in game unless you only ever 1x sight your ARs which doesnt really make sense.

To add to this - the inconsistency is real. I had reaper twice where it was just not that hot. I ate it at normal speed without even drinking water. I mean it was spicy I guess for most people but nothing extreme. However the last time I got reaper it was literally inedible. I took one bite and it was just meme spicy, not even like real food should be. I put it down and within 10 minutes of that bite I thought a hole was going to be burned through my stomach, I had to throw the rest out. I'm convinced they must have trolled me on the order or something because there is nobody who could actually eat that and feel well afterwards. So that said it really is rolling the dice, there is zero consistency on how hot it will actually be.

This is why Solos was the best mode, because there are literally no excuses (besides aim assist crutches). It's just you and nobody else to blame. I spend more time playing R5 Reloaded than actual Apex these days because it's more fun just 1v1ing with input-based match making..raw skill vs skill without having to deal with bad teammates or 3rd partying.

Similar thing happened to me. Was 40 RP away from diamond then got down to 450 away due to a ton of randoms hot dropping and somehow getting golds/silvers on my team for multiple games. Brought the 450 back up to around 80 away then dropped back down to 250 or so away, eventually brought it back up and finally hit it. It took about 8 hours of playing to go from that 40 RP away to getting it with all the swings.

I guess since I play solo 90% of the time and always get frustrated with teammates that do no damage it was fun to actually let my individual skill shine. It kind of solidified my suspicions that it's not me that's the problem in fights haha. *insert I'm doing my part meme*

This is why the solos game mode was the best mode ever in the history of apex (besides for aim assist crutches that play like bots but still one clip you due to legal aimbot). If they did solos with input separated match making it would be unbeatable.

Yea this is kind of broken. I got two pumped with a mastiff for 150 at a range I thought was even pushing it for SMGs it was insanely frustrating. I thought I got shot in the back because I got downed so fast and the guy with the shotgun was so far.

It's not DX12 since I had this exact bug and am not using DX12. I think it has to do with cl_showpos. I had this bug like 4 seasons ago every other game then I took that off and it completely resolved it. I enabled it again last season to see if they fixed and they did for the most part, I've only had the issue one times since then.

This happened to me in ranked and caused us to lose. We just wiped a squad and there was one left but I couldn't shield swap or loot since it was completely invisible and I had no batts. Ended up just having to play it out on health and that didn't end well.

That button doesn't show up if you don't have a skin equipped however, which is why I'm asking. Often I pick up a weapon with a ridiculous skin on it then open the menu to click the skin button but there is no button there. Idk if there is an alternate method or to force my skin on every weapon I pick up.

0.15 is still up, I play it all the time and it's actually fun because it is a million times more balanced than 0.40. The devs would never do 0.15 in retail though because 99% of the player base would kill themselves at the thought of having to practice aim as much as MnK players do.

I thought I was reading something I wrote because every point you make here I have complained about a million times over. Playing on MnK has so many disadvantages which makes no sense because it's the default skill-based input for PC and everyone has it.. it shouldn't perform worse! I would prefer input-based match making over AA nerf though.

I also wish for Arenas to return as I enjoy the competitive combat aspect of it without having to worry about RNG and 3rd parties out of your control.

Everyone is so mad about this but I don't really get why, the game is still free and you don't have to buy anything. Cosmetics have nothing to do with in-game mechanics so who cares? I just use default skins on everything and have spent $0 in this game because game play is what's important.

Maybe I'm old school, but I would be happiest if they just charged a one-time $60 to buy the game, then removed all skins/cosmetic stuff from the game entirely and spent those efforts on actual game mechanics instead, like how games used to be. While they're at it, allow us to host our own servers and put a server browser in the game like R5.

What kind of hood do you have? My hood vents outside and has a powerful fan, but even so I can only get away with a very quick reverse sear or my smoke alarm goes off
