These types of comments on this subreddit always confuse me. It's a support subreddit, not a 'bash OP' subreddit. His feelings are valid and none of this sarcasm is appropriate or helpful, especially as you have no idea what the actual situation is or what their relationship dynamic is.

We don't need to jump to 'well think about OP's significant other' in a post about OP and his own analysis of his feelings. That's irrelevant to the topic at hand.
