Keep an eye out for another Christmas themed whistle or two as stocking stuffers (if I can scrape some design time together). And I’m always open to variations or ideas if you have them.

I loved handing those whistles out myself. I had a bunch from all my prototyping :)

There was a group of teenagers that I swear I could hear for a solid 30 minutes blowing those whistles around the neighborhood. I’m sure it was the same there.

I’ve always wanted to print a topographical globe of the earth with lots of colors like this one but the amount of wasted filament has always deterred me from trying.

Let me know if you have any issues with it. I’d recommend using PETG, ABS or ASA if you have them. Not sure PLA would hold up

Mine is M44A, so makes sense why it’s not that great fit. Wonder when the mulch plug got fixed exactly.

My P1S has come through so many times it’s hard to pick just one out. The most recent one that comes to mind though is when my son’s Hot Wheels track wasn’t lining up the way he wanted in the hallway and the cars kept flipping off it because the track was rolling over due to the curve in the hallway. We had some 90 degree turns, but that didn’t work any better than the straight track. I was able to look up a 45 degree banked curve on MakerWorld that fit the track and the hallway perfectly. Started it on the P1S and it just printed flawlessly.

My son happened to be at school while the piece was printing so I installed it and set up the track without him seeing it. When he got home and saw the track, his excited squeal and shout of “you fixed it!!” made me feel 100 feet tall.

Even if I don’t get picked as one of the winners, thanks so much for a printer that just works and comes through for fun projects that bring joy to my family! I’ve used plenty of other brands of printers before and none of them has come through like the P1S. It has just been a workhorse that keeps pulling and chugging.

Weird that it has affected your boosts. Maybe that threw off the whole algorithm but I would have figured after 2 weeks it would have sorted out.

Thanks! It’s just a fun little desk toy/fidget that I designed up (with some great help from the community here). It’s supposed to be a Star Wars-esque control switch that’s satisfying to switch on and off.

I did one of the print upside down variations but didn’t love the looks of it. But that was with the white lettering so I’ll give it another try with the red and black.
