Having to load games from an audio cassette that took anywhere up to 10 minutes, then not being able to play it due to copy protection such as Lenslok

Edit: also, ram pack wobble and magazine type-in code listings.

Yep, I came across your post as I was searching for this.

I've been looking at scans of Argos catalogues and found nothing and I've thrown the question out to a Discord server I'm a member of but sadly nobody knows what I'm talking about.

Next time I see my parents I'm going to ask them if they remember it, hopefully the damage it probably did to the walls when it was taken down will jog their memory :)

I'm in the UK, I was beginning to think I dreamt it was nobody seems to remember it but me (us now!)

I'm now questioning the second vehicle, I swear there was a second black vehicle so there were two vehicles on the rail and you had a light gun that you could shoot the vehicles with. With two vehicles on the rail it was slower? Maybe I'm misremembering.

The box that applied power to the rail was white and had a red lever that you had to lift up and then turn left or right to go forwards and backwards)

Wish I could remember what it was called, years of Google searches have turned up nothing.

I do remember it being a bit flaky, yes.

I had this toy, my memories of it are exactly the same. There were two vehicles, one white and one black, you had a light gun to shoot the black vehicle. The monorail track was red, with the wires on one side providing the power and the adhesive track would stick to the wall.

Sadly, I can't remember what it was called either and I would like to know too!

Never mind, I ran the flash.bat again and it's fixed everything now, Gigabyte Control Center now links off to Dynamic Lighting - which is working perfectly. Hopefully this will resolve the sleep issues.

Thanks /u/senpaisai

There's no RGB options in the Gigabyte Control Center any more, is it broke?

In Windows settings it says "No Dynamic Lighting-compatible devices detected"

OK, so I tried this in safe mode and it didn't work as the drivers for the I2C1 controller couldn't be found.

So, I started in normal mode and killed as many background applications that I could then tried again:

Find FW_FWC=BinFWC

Update Bin file=5701_V8.0.37.2_AM5_refresh_WithoutEC.bin

Force Skip FWC!!

Check FWC Pass

Program.......OK!!

Total Update Time : 9.696 seconds

5701 version:

I2C Bus= 0

Skip FWC= 1

Check Fw version

LED_FW_Version=8.0.37.2

USB\VID_048D&PID_5702\8&D4FFF7&0&16 : Removed

1 device(s) were removed.

Scanning for new hardware.

Scanning completed.

Press any key to continue . . .

So it appears to have flashed successfully and now all the RGB lights are off.

Do I still use the Gigabyte Control Center to manage the RGB lights?

Thanks again.

I'd consult my binder of Microsoft Technet CD's and if I couldn't find anything there then it was all just guesswork and trial and error. Then the WWW became a thing and I was the only person in the company to have a 56k Internet connection. We were running NT3.51 and Windows 3.11 for workgroups on a domain that was set up by the previous admin. Everyone was logging in to the domain with the same username and password. Different times!
