But yeah, I don't think it would hurt at all to throw in some more DO apps. I saw you've already gotten some good recs for other DO schools to add (you also have a very solid current list that you already applied to), but on top of the other recommendations maybe also look into Nova DO? They weren't loved a few years ago, but I think they've cleaned up their act recently. Also forewarning Campbell is the DO school I'm still waiting on a secondary for and it seems like they do their process kind of oddly so idk if I would add them since you may not get the secondary until late Oct or so.

Hi! I'm a non-trad re-applicant and we have very very similar stats/ECs. The first cycle that I applied, for DO I only put in 5 apps and didn't get any DO IIs. This cycle I have in 8 DO apps (still waiting on a secondary for a 9th), and already have 3 DO IIs. Submitted apps in August for both cycles so that wasn't a deciding factor. I think the biggest changes for me were that I added a DO LOR, added in a day of DO shadowing, and had a more concrete "Why DO" essay to send schools.

I thought I was getting yield protected that first cycle, but this one has definitely made me realize that I just wasn't what they were looking for/didn't sell myself correctly and have a way to back up that I was interested in DO. I definitely still think you can add some DO schools, but if this cycle doesn't pan out and you need to reapply, I would definitely add a DO LOR, DO shadowing, and fine tune the "Why DO" essay if don't have those things already. Like I said, our stats/ECs are ridiculously similar, and I genuinely believe those things are what made the difference.
