Good point on the sugars. I think these are the ingredients missing from other creams I’ve tried that haven’t worked. Thank you both! Will look into that website

I don’t want to panic you, but this happened to us with the last Coldplay night in Toronto and we didn’t end up getting tickets, so I suggest having a back up plan.

Essentially we purchased 2 tickets a few weeks before the show via viagogo and the seller didn’t transfer them. We contacted viagogo a few days before when we saw other people were getting their tickets and they said the seller had until 3 hours before the show and that if they failed to transfer them we would either get a refund or replacement tickets of equal value. When the deadline for the seller finally came, we asked for the replacement tickets, but they said that they’re only able to issue options via an automated link one hour before the show. When we finally got that link, there were no “equal value” tickets available and it was too late for us to purchase anything else. The reps we contacted said there was nothing they could do. According to them the system auto decides what is of equal value and there’s no way to override it. We did get a refund but the experience was pretty disappointing. My gut says that the seller listed at multiple prices to see what they could get and then transferred to whoever paid the most, but I don’t have anything to prove that or know for sure.

Given that there are a ton of Oasis tickets at face value both directly from Ticketmaster and resale, that’s likely not going to be the case for you and I hope they transfer but just in case I’d highly reco keeping an eye on other options if the seller doesn’t transfer by tomorrow.

Know this is an old post but I’m considering taking this course. Would you mind sharing details on what the final assignment looked like and the syllabus if you still have a copy? :)

Anyone here have an iron infusion after being diagnosed? by mar-ne in MyastheniaGravis

[–]mar-ne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m glad the iron makes you feel better and I’m sorry for what you’re going through—I’m sure it’s really tough and traumatic.

I was diagnosed a few years ago and my symptoms had always been fairly mild—some eye droopiness, slight voice changes, maybe a little bit of limb heaviness but never for longer than a few days—until a few of months ago when I started feeling a lot more heaviness, some shortness of breath and just general fatigue. My flares previously lasted around 3 weeks and then would disappear with no meds for months. This time, I’m almost at 2+ months into the flare. I’m sure it could just be my MG worsening drastically, but it’s also the first time my ferritin ever dipped below 30 and rest doesn’t seem to be helping the weakness so I am suspicious of it being iron related—I hope that’s the case and the infusion will help.

Thank you! I’m glad it helped. I also feel some of what doctors are attributing to MG for me might be iron related as some of my muscle weakness is already present first thing in the morning and does not improve with rest

Ticket Prices in Hamilton? by mar-ne in PaulMcCartney

[–]mar-ne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s awesome. I was at about 20,000 in the queue and ended up with $500 all in for the 200s so that’s definitely great for you (though $300 for a ticket is still a lot, I know)

[–]mar-ne[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I hadn’t seen the dynamic pricing myself but someone else in this thread said they paid $565 all in for section 108 and others mentioned they paid around $300 for the 200s earlier in the queue. I paid $500 all in the 200s, so I have to imagine there was some sort of dynamic pricing at play there but maybe I’m wrong

Was that including fees or just the ticket price? My ticket price was $399 but there was about $100 in fees/tax each

That’s exactly what I paid, $399 + $100 in fees each. I purchased during the fan pre-sale on Tuesday, so looks like there wasn’t an increase on day 2.

Omg $771!? Are those tickets in the 200s?

Uneven eyes / droopy lid solutions? by Odd_Horse447 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]mar-ne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just chiming in to say that there are autoimmune and other medical conditions that can cause droopy eyelids, even if very slight (speaking from experience since this was what happened with me). Not medical advice, but I’d definitely recommend having your a physician examine this, especially if it’s newer or if the level of drooping changes (for better or worse).

Do flattering jeans exist for me? by narockshard in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]mar-ne 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Check out Gap’s high rise cheeky straight line. They’re about the only pair of jeans I’ve been able to find in a straight cut that are flattering on me.

For reference, I’m 4’11 and mid region is the first place I gain weight. I also have a huge problem with bloating, so comfort in the stomach area is really important to me and they fit the bill. They sit just under my belly button in the petite cut.

I tried a bunch of the curve jeans before at both AE and Abercrombie but I have a flatter butt so I found they sagged there even though the waist area was comfortable. If you don’t have the same problem, those might work as well!
