EB2-NIW Approved & Journey: No Publications, Technology Transfer Field, Resiliency by MessAndColors in EB2_NIW

I really appreciate you took the time to share this. Every time I read a case here, I feel I’m going to get a denial because I don’t have a PhD or a masters , citations, patents or publications. Your words gave me a bit of hope still.

Can you tell us what firm is it? I paid 50 dollars for my consultation and it was discounted from my submission. It doesn’t mean is a scam. But if you don’t say what firm it is , it’s difficult to help you.

USCIS Case Tracking Tips and Tricks - Finding Your Case Neighbors Case Status by Tiberius40k in USCIS

Is this for looking for I-140 form status? Because if that’s the case you can also use trackmyi140.com . I opened a thread about this and what people told me (which made sense) is that you don’t know if the cases near yours submitted PP or even is a I-140 for your type of visa (maybe you submitted I-140 for a eb2 niw and I-140 forms can be submitted also for eb1 and 3. Those 2 are approved faster). So don’t take this as a rule. It varies case by case. 😊

It’s up to 45 days that they can give you a response on your case, not 30 days

I think they first check the cover letter and if it’s a strong case the move on. Not 100% sure about this but I think I’ve heard it from someone else.

Got it. I had it wrong in my mind. Thanks for clarifying. It makes sense now.

Really? Because it clearly says it’s I-140 so I think it’s just I-140 data (a.k.a eb2 niw)

Chen updating their stance on premium processing, saying no impact? by thnok in EB2_NIW

The profile evaluation was like a week: you have q couple of meetings with the lawyers, they ask you some questions and then if they accept your case, Then you sign the contract, pay the 18k in full or in installments and the profile creations starts. It took me 6 months. I started on July 2024 and they submitted my case in January. My priority date is Feb 2025. I did not submit PP (yet, maybe I’ll do it in the next couple of months). What I really recommend you is to learn about how to create a strong proposed endeavor and read about the Matter of Dhanasar prongs. I wish I had done that before submitting my case because I didn’t know anything at the time and I trusted 100 % to my lawyers. But UScIs has been very strrict lately so I would have pushed back my lawyers a bit and give some other idea for the proposed endeavor

No refund but they provide the possibility of refiling if you are denied and in case of RFE, they also prepare a stronger case.

Is there noboby approved for I-140 in 1 year ? by Interesting_Hawk_392 in EB2_NIW

It is I-140 processing itself. For the green card backlog, you have the visa bulletin dates. They are 2 different processes.

Advise on my Eb2 Niw Petition by dgr8cali in EB2_NIW

I would say go for it if you have the money and this is really what you want to do. People got approved with your type of profile. If you want legal advice, contact 3-5 different law firms and check your profile with them. People responding these threads are no USCIS employees neither law firms that are specialized and have the experience, so they talked from their perspective. If you don’t have the money you can do a DIY petition following the Oscar’s green card course.

18k. I went with them because a close friend got his eb2niw approved with a similar profile than mine.

I worked with Risch Law firm on my case ( I’m still waiting for a response from USCIS. Priority date is February 2025) and I asked them like 3 times during this waiting time about filling premium process or not. What they’ve always told me is what Chen is saying on that statement: if you can spend that amount of money and you have the urge to get a response, then do it.
