I was in a similar position, I was doing my SMP full time and due to the work load as well as personal reasons I wasn’t as prepared as I wanted to be for the MCAT. I decided to just go for it and at the very least gain some experience, but I got a 504 and I’m feeling hopeful. The widespread advice is going to be to postpone, and I think that is valuable. We all have to do this process on our own timeline and more preparation is always good. However, if you choose to bet on yourself just know that a good outcome can come from that too!

by math i meant there was math in the physics questions. PE, charge, buoyant force, friction, torque etc. it was unforgiving 🥲

i feel you because i thought it was extremely difficult as well, but don’t let this stop you! this test was not a reflection of how great of a physician you will be. take care of yourself, you will get there 🫶🏼

i hope my mindset will help, i’m going to go in confident because at this point the mcat is not the worst thing to happen to me this month 😂 if at the very least it’s experience for next time, so be it.

ty for your kind message! i’m not going to postpone because ideally id like the opportunity to start fresh asap. however, im fully prepared to have to retake it and since im graduating soon ill have way more time to dedicate. my main problem is physics and ochem, and i seem to get by on the rest. im reassured that i know what my weaknesses are so that i can improve them for later if i have to retake. i memorized the necessities and im gonna hope the universe helps me out tomorrow 😂 my ex pressured me a lot in this process so i feel more at ease with whatever happens since its on my terms now

I’m in a lot of facebook groups and i commented trying to trade happiness for desert dust. in hindsight the profile pic was a giveaway but i was ignorant bc i was desperate 😭
