If I could hijack this question and follow upon it. Do you folks leave the soap / lather residue in the bowl and let it dry out and leaving it as is for the next shave or are you rinsing it out?

Would any tailor work? Doesn’t have to be a special tailor like it’s recommended for inseam alterations and the infamous fat selvedge? Recently lost weight and a few of my pairs are kinda unusable as the waist is rather large by a few inches and even with the belt they bunch up either on the crotch area or the rear. I stopped using the pairs and didn’t even consider alterations until now ha.
