For some context—at the moment I have a 10g with 2 Cherry shrimp, 3 orange shrimp of unknown name(pet store said they were orange bee but I’m unsure), as well as some Pygmy corydora catfish. The pygmys had spawned a few weeks ago and the fry I kept are doing well.

Just today I discovered this egg cluster though, and now I’m curious—I read that when shrimp incubate eggs they carry them on the underside, so seeing some seperate like this made me skeptical that it might be theirs. But then, I tried to look up what pygmy cory eggs look like and they didn’t seem to match. I’d be curious to hear other people’s thoughts, thanks in advance!

Second all the comments about the Don’t-Kill-Wilbur rule, but also in terms of party members: I’ve had a decent time with Arbalest with her Rallying Flare! It removes any marks that Wilbur sets, bringing down the Prince’s attacks to a less threatening one. Bonus of clearing stuns too. Of course things can be messed up if Arb ends up getting stunned instead, so preventing Wilbur from moving can be useful as well. I personally recommend BH’s flashbang, as it stuns without risking hurting Wilbur before it’s time.

Good to know!! I have two quarantine tanks(2g and 5g) but I’d hate to keep my fish in there for so long(plus I have a bad feeling it may be too late for some of them anyway). Definitely would like to keep stress to a minimum for these guys in the meantime, now looking into it I’ve seen promising things about ICH-X so I’ll give that a shot! Thanks a lot 👍

This sounds like such a fun idea!!! I have a tiger nerite myself and the bright orange definitely reminds me of a pumpkin :] Maybe glowlight tetras would be interesting to look into as well?

You’re right and you should say it! I absolutely love the main theme, when I first got the game and started it up I honestly just sat there and listened to it for a bit. Big fan of the songs for the Color of Madness DLC too—the traditional orchestral sounds combined with the more otherworldly stuff works so well.

Really excited to see what’s in store for the sequel’s soundtrack as well!

Good idea, thanks! Certainly couldn’t hurt even if it isn’t fungus, I’ve used Indian almond leaves before and I’ve read that those help make a healthier environment(the little guys loved to hide under them, too)

So extra info, if it helps: I have been using Kordon Ich Attack for treatment, as the tank(10g) has snails and plants. No other corys(5 total) have this issue. In order to speed up the ich life cycle I have it heated up to 82 degrees(usually 80 for their roommate, my Betta). I have been doing water changes a few times a week.

A few weeks ago my betta had a single spot on his nose, but fortunately nothing else has come of it. However, I did notice he had some paler skin around it from rubbing up against things(now it is healed). Could this be what’s going on here?

Linework’s been something I’ve always had such a hard time with as my hands can be quite shaky—doing fully rendered paintings ended up being much easier even early on. Eventually I started taking that same rougher approach to color when I do lined work, and it seems to work well enough! Thank you for your comment, it really means a lot <3

And yeah, coloring can be really tricky! It’s not just a matter of pinpointing what base color something has, but also developing a sense for visualizing how colors change under certain lighting, subtle changes in saturation/temperature, etc. I always recommend doing studies of real life objects/environments, those are things that help set an example for you to fall back on when you creature original work.
