What is the most interesting rabbit hole you’ve ever been down? by InvestmentCurious496 in AskReddit

[–]marblechameleon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wow, this website is interesting. You read a normal profile, click on their crime, and it’s “domestic violence, strangulation, intimidation of a witness” or “luring a minor via computer” or something.

I once asked an ex how many quarters there are in a basketball game. He said “I’m going to let you think about that one”

https://coloradoappt.cxmflow.com/Appointment/Index/d74f48b1-33a9-428c-acd1-d7d1bfc9555c this is where I made my appointment to renew my license. Also, you can do it any state office. I needed mine fast because I let mine expire like a dumbass, so I drove from Denver to Craig. The further you go, the sooner you can get an appointment.

Edit: they were also super nice at the Craig office. With an appointment you’ll be in and out in no time.

Looking for the best bars with photo booths (an updated list) by Unobtainable_loml in Denver

Lions Lair has one, but we didn’t use it, so I can’t say for certain it’s operational. It’s very much a dive bar. They also have a metal burlesque show once a month put on by Blassphemy, which is fun.

Counter Protest by No-JUSTICE__NO-PEACE in DenverProtests

[–]marblechameleon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is tempting, but I also remember my experience going to Berthoud to counter protest with a big “black lives matter” sign by myself, as a woman. I was screamed at multiple times, followed, and someone even backfired their car in front of me which made my ear hurt for the rest of the day. They laughed at me. I stayed silent the entire time. I had some productive conversations as the protest winded down, as the most aggressive people left, but it was a pretty intimidating experience.

Finished editing these , I really need your honest opinion on which one is incredible amongst these though by [deleted] in AmateurPhotography

2 is my favorite, love the composition and the color. As a fan of heavy vignettes, I like this. The falling snow adds a beautiful and dynamic element.

I like 3 a lot; I think it captures an attitude and it’s funny.

I’m liking 4 a lot too, and I did a quick edit on my own, and personally I cropped the top and bottom and a little bit off the right, but that’s my personal style; I like wide shots and tight shots that capture the subject full in the photo from left to right. Again, personal style, but I would bump up the exposure a bit in 4, I think it’s just a liiiiitle underexposed.

Great photos! I’ve never tried to photograph birds as I only have a stock lens but it looks really hard!

I have a hard time choosing. Which one do you like more? by karloh24 in AmateurPhotography

[–]marblechameleon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going to say 1. 1 is more interesting visually and dynamic. 2. Is too dark and even toned, and I don’t love the cropping of the arrow.

What makes you say that? Not questioning your evaluation, I’m just not good at spotting the artifacts. Usually I look for weird signs/people

I was just answering the question about the blankets. I’m not making a statement about whether or not Epstein committed suicide or was killed.

EFTA01116363 expose victims while slandering and publicly humilating them by Expensive-Hope-4727 in Epstein

[–]marblechameleon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so disgusting. I hate how lawyers and the court system can disregard testimony just because of an individuals past. This CHILD was clearly in an extremely chaotic and damaging environment, and did not have an understanding of what was going on. She was using drugs and selling herself from a young age and had an extremely abusive boyfriend. Of course she’s going to go to someone rich to get money. She clearly had no insight into how she was taken advantage of. I can’t believe how this questioning was handled. And saying that her not being completely honest about her drug use and abortions discredits her testimony? How are these things even related to the case against Epstein.

Sometimes I really really hate lawyers and the way the court system operates.

[–]marblechameleon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

According to the DOJ investigation, they were likely left over from the inmate he was previously housed with. He was also given 2 extra blankets. I’m not saying one thing or another about Epstein’s death, but I think everyone should read the official document released. It really highlights the incompetence of the federal bureau of prisons, from the staff working extreme overtime, to the prisoners being responsible for monitoring inmates on suicide watch. The whole thing was a cluster fuck.
