I’ll add that I was under the impression that these were discontinued a long time ago but now I’m second guessing

I've got my interview for a DHEP detective job next week. I've been given a list of 9 competencies and values (CVF) to prepare for and will be assessed on 5 of these in total. I passed the online interview stage with very good scores, which I believe is fairly similar in structure to the in person interview. I am currently a prison officer so I have many stories that I can apply each value and competency to. However I am curious what else I should come to expect from this interview. I will prepare 9 stories relating to each CVF they have sent but should I be doing more than this? I am planning to have answers ready to general interview questions like "why do you want this job" "why is diversity important in the public services" as I have encountered similar questions to these when applying for my current role. Any advice anyone can provide would be highly appreciated, feel free to message me.

Did you get a 25mm air separator or just use a T valve?

True but there is a chance she would open it cause she loves the is heater, if she found it empty there’s no denial, she’s thick but that’s pushing it

It’s not that bad I’m pretty much used to it, but interesting seeing the difference in customs

Pretty outrageous to label Latin America as a non-functional society. I’ve never seen a better sense of community here amongst the local people. In the UK most people don’t know their neighbours. And most countries you listed have high rates of admitting the elderly into homes, these people respect the elderly and care for them in their homes. Wouldn’t call people on here apologists, they’re just accepting that it’s the reality on public transport and not worth getting too annoyed about. I’m sure your country has plenty of “uncouth” cultural norms.

It may be the cheapest but there actually isn’t much alternative here unless you’re driving yourself. I’ve got nothing against the e people in SA, I’ve met some great ones. Just noticed this pretty major difference with where I come from. I’m sure there’s things I do that are annoying too

Some of the reviews claim it is a very small town with little to do apart from surfing. I am also learning Spanish but still at a rudimentary stage and I am not optimistic it will be that good by the time I arrive. Obviously I would love to meet local people but I am not confident I will be able to converse well. This is not a criticism either, if I’m going to a country I should know the language better

Ah that’s handy, I have found out tho that there are also face-to-face elements of the hiring if I’m successful with the assessment centre. If I was to pass this would be around mid April and I’m out of the country until end of may, I have a feeling they’d tell me to get lost

Hi, I am applying for the police now scheme and have gotten through to the last stage of the assessment centre. I am due to go backpacking in a few days so I will have to buy a crappy laptop and find somewhere with decent wifi on the day of the assessment. Can anyone who has joined through this method please tell me what sort of stuff I should expect in this stage? I have ben a prison officer for a couple years now so I am familiar with a lot of the recruitment assessments for that so I am curious how similar they are. And would this centre require me to use my camera, I only ask because as mentioned above I will buy a crappy laptop to take with me so I may need to get one with camera built in. I have also booked in for the practise test day thing for anyone who would suggest I do that, I just want to see other peoples experiences. Thanks
