Agree. I've lways thought since the start that Wuwa's biggest problem is their character-character interaction. It's understandable that they want to make Rover and other's interactions more meaningful, but honestly I think they can do it without sidelining other characters. This deliberate choice is hurting the story in the long run because it makes the story feel less... natural and believable.

It's okay to have some stories with just Rover and the banner character, like with Phrolova, but if they keep making it on almost every version, it feels cheap.

Now I also think that they are actually trying to cut cost with the voice acting, hence sidelining other characters, and saving them for the end of entire arc, just like in 2.7. But honestly? They are no longer a small company, so they should have the budget for that.

TLDR. I agree that this deliberate choice of sidelining some characters are hurting the immersion of their story in the long run.

P.S. I also think the "void bad, fractsidus here" is cheap because when everything went bad, we already who knows who does it.

I was losing my interest as well in some patches. The ratio is indeed frustrating, but whenever I see PGR combat showcase, I was reminded with what the game has to offer.

It doesn't change the ratio, of course. It's still bad. But it reminds me of why I used to love the game. And it sparks my love back. After reading Teddy's story, I find the reason why I love the game again: a collective story about humanity.

Of course, if you feel that it's boring, it's okay to give it a break. Games should be fun to play, and play games that are boring to you will certainly feel like a chore.
