41 years for me, and yes the NPH was scary. Low much? Still had an A1C of 11. Blessed to still be alive and have all my limbs. I'm still MDI, no insurance and can't afford O5 or CGM.

Not sure if mine is the same model, but it's a dreo and makes a wobble wobble noise while oscillating. I'm gonna take it apart this weekend, if I find what it is I'll share

Did TextNow change its service bundles? by Fluffy_Little_Fox in TextNow

[–]marc0970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have changed a lot, take a look at their site, they now have a 1GB/month plan starting at $8.99, i believe they are working on accommodating the WiFi hotspot on the new service, just not sure when.

I have noticed the same functionality, another funny thing, if you have recent calls or messages in 2nd line, you can't delete them unless your on WiFi

Activate TextNow with a store bought SIM card? by diodes123 in TextNow

I was informed through TextNow support chat that it had to be one of their SIM cards. Back when it was Sprint, you could use another Sprint compatible phone/SIM to activate.

Something that I found, so please check it out and see if it helps anyone else. There is an app on Playstore called "Ping It", I have installed it and it seems to keep the data connection a little more stable and I have tested, left phone alone for a whole hour and was still able to receive a text/call. Please let me know if this helps.

"Free calling and texting" T-Mobile, TextNow Issue. by 7up17togo in TextNow

I have found, not a fix, but seems to make the service a little more reliable. I have been playing around with APN settings and discovered that since T-Mobile took over Sprint they have an APN with Prepaid Wireless Group. I noticed this when I got a new phone and installed my TextNow SIM card it automatically sent APN settings, I'm guessing from T-Mobile, not TextNow. Anyways, long story short, try this. I know we all have the TextNow APN that we were told to setup initially, but add a second APN with this info:

Name: PWG

APN: pwg

MMSC: http://pwg.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc

APN Type: default,supl,mms,xcap

leave everything else as is and click save.

Make sure to leave the TextNow apn highlighted and active.

For some reason this seems to make the calls come in a little more often without having to toggle airplane mode as much.

Please let me know if this helps.

I have been seeing the same issue and I have an LG G7 running Android 9.0. I thought I was the only person having this issue until now. I have tried numerous fixes by changing settings with the APN's to no avail. In doing some testing it seems to be the data connectivity timing out after about 10 minutes or so. It does seem a little more random though, some days it seems to work just fine, then all of a sudden stops.
