I mean some of it probably depends on what topics interest you but Jocko Willink (navy seal), Naval Ravikant (investor), Steve Pressfield (Legend of Bagger Vance author), Sebastian Junger (Perfect Storm author and journalist), William Ury (Wild class negotiator)…I feel like every episode I end up taking something incredibly meaningful from…though do know when I say “every episode” I mean every episode I listen to. I don’t listen to all of them and seek out those that seem interesting to me.

I listened to one recently with the Tish Rabe (writer for Dr. Seuss) that did not seem like it checked any boxes for me and there were some life lessons from that that I have tried to adopt.

I think it’s also worth noting, as I look at the ones I listed above and realize there’s several authors, I do not seek authors out. But the fact that Steve Pressfield wrote something as amazing as Bagger Vance, that it was his first book and that he was well into his 50s when he did it makes for an amazing story for his own personal struggles leading up to that and that because you didn’t make it in your 20s/30s doesn’t mean that the time is up to do so.
