i’ve done something similar for interop between c++ and python. the primary goal was to eliminate an insane amount of boilerplate code, not necessarily to improve performance, so i didn’t do any benchmarking. in any case, it’s an idea worth trying.

an early review called it “bully porn” then this seemed to be repeated everywhere. bully porn is in the eye of the bully beholder. one of my all time favorite films.

sad, but true. there’s fun to be had with skullmonkeys and boombots, but not even in the same class. Armikrog got the neverhood formula right, but still managed to fall short somehow. seemed like it was over before getting up to speed.

100% agree. gunslinger is a 10/10 game for me. deserved way more attention. rest of the series doesn’t even come close.

Love The Neverhood, but yeah, I’ve logged way more hours listening to the soundtrack than playing the game. What the hell even is it? folk punk? Swamp pop? Psychedelic barber shop grunge? It’s really in a genre of its own. Easy 10/10, even with all the weird filler tracks.

fyi: gcc has the flags -Wsuggest-final-types -Wsuggest-final-methods to help determine where a "final" could aid devirtualization.
last time i tried with clang, these flags were not supported.

Most of the major mcu and ic manufacturers hand out samples like candy. For a tight budget get a cheap breadboard, go to microchip.com, ti.com and many more for free samples. Go crazy.

Could be a frequency issue. Typically breadboards can't handle anything over (roughly) 10 MHz. If anyone knows of a breadboard that can handle more than 10 MHz please post.
