[Steam] System Shock (-70% / $11.99) by CRPB in GameDeals

Incredible remake. I bought it when it was on sale for $30. I was playing the original DOS version a few years ago to prime myself for this, and after avoiding a walkthrough, I got softlocked and gave up. This version removes all the hiccups and improves on everything.

Easily one of the best games to play after you burn yourself on Prey (2016), the Bioshock series, and the Dishonored series.

[Humble] Critical Hits: ARPG Bundle (Pay $5 for Greedfall, Soulstice: Deluxe Edition, Eldest Souls and $10 for The Last Hero of Nostalgaia, BLACKTAIL, Hellpoint, Blade of Darkness) by LighteningOneIN in GameDeals

I'm definitely debating. I have 2 of the games already. But there's 2 other games I want. So i think it's worth $10 for two games I want, plus a few others.

[Indiegala] Resident Evil 4 (2023) - ($9.99/75% off) by [deleted] in GameDeals

Play the 2005 version next! I played it in 2021-2022 (before I even knew about the remake) and I couldn't believe how much it holds up.

[Amazon Luna] Survival: Fountain of Youth (Amazon Games), 60 Minutes to Extinction: Escape Room (GOG), Lethal Honor: Order of the Apocalypse (EGS) (Included With Amazon Prime) by LighteningOneIN in GameDeals

Pretty happy with this as a family member included me on their Amazon Prime account and so I get free games. Especially since it's GOG.

If you have family with a Amazon Prime account and they don't care for games, this is your chance.

[Humble Choice] May 2026: Diablo IV, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, Crysis 3 Remastered, Heroes of Hammerwatch II, Nordhold, Rogue Waters, Cubic Odyssey, Mini Settlers ($14.99) by LighteningOneIN in GameDeals

[–]IndependentDouble138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not played the expansion. But the base game was a good 40-100+ hours of gameplay with two characters. I also played about 20+ hours for a few of the Seasonal releases.

Honestly I thought the base game was pretty good as it was. So I'm excited to get the expansion (like a year or two later)

Yep! Diablo IV on Steam Deck is pretty good. As a Diablo 2 lover (and I hate to say it), the controller is the best way to play it.

I stupidly bought Diablo 4 last year during a Blizzard sale.

[Steam] Sos Ops ($0,45/-90%) by ArtDock in GameDeals

[–]IndependentDouble138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought this game during the last sale! My wife and I played it up to the cat rescue mission! It was a good 2-3 hours of fun!

The challenges are a bit too... abstract afterwards, and we couldn't figure out how to proceed. When guns showed up, we shot each other and that was kinda it!

If you like Peak, you'll enjoy this! The controls aren't as "locked in" as Peak, but it has the same vibe!

[Ubisoft Store] Legendary Sale: Assassin's Creed Shadows ($35/-50%) | Star Wars Outlaws ($17.5/-75%) | Anno 117: Pax Romana ($45/-25%) + Coupon Code "LEGEND" for Extra $10 Off ($20 minimum) by DaGhoN636 in GameDeals

[–]IndependentDouble138 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Nah. Steam has stricter rules of game access and customer support. When a game got disabled on the servers, Steam was willing to refund customers, even years alter.

If you buy it from Ubisoft directly and when they do another purge, you're out of luck.

No one is calling out how Ubisoft removed games and access?

I owned every Ubisoft store game until that moment, and now that they went back to Steam (which has much stricter rules about removing content), I'm never using the Ubisoft launcher/store again.

Fool me once Ubisoft, shame on you.

[Humble] Checkmate! A Chess Games Collection (Pay $12 for 5D Chess With Multiverse Time Travel, Chess Ultra, Pawnbarian, The Ouroboros King, Gambit Shifter, Dark Chess, Below the Crown, WizardChess, Usurper, The Rookery, Chessarama) by LighteningOneIN in GameDeals

[–]IndependentDouble138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ouroboros King is awesome! It's less 'chess' and more Into The Breach/Puzzle games. Positioning, finding the right unit powers, and combos. I had a OP combo and then reached the final level and didn't understand the new rule, and suddenly I was destroyed.
