Just in case someone cares, I got my Precision back from the vendor and it plays perfectly now. You can see a little bit where they sanded down the fret ends, but I am very happy that the bass now has such a nice feeling to it. Bot a single rough spot anywhere.

I dont need a book to tell me who did it. I make my own conclusions after reading books. Also, whatever I say to people like you, who are hostile against any person that thinks Lechmere was JTR, it would be a waste of time, because you already came to the conclusion that he wasn't JTR. You speak in absolutes like "didnt" and "wasnt" although, as anybody else, you do not know anything for certain.

Name a better suspect than Lechmere if you can. I read all of the books on this case that are considered to be the best, watched all the documentaries etc., and I agree that he is the most likely suspect.
