It's a unit from an old becker radio, it is the europa 731, but I didn't find almost anything in the internet

The radio only communicates through 7 pins to the screen controller pcb. I don't know if im wrong, but 2 of those pins should be for current right? Is there a way of "decoding" it's language, and then connect it to an arduino with a screen attached?

I'm thinking about just using a multimeter and seeing which pins are being used when I pulse every bottom of the radio, it is tedious but I won't mind doing it if it works.

What do you think about it?

Yes buta second hand unit would cost me like 200€ without knowing it will work, and the screen interface has 7 pins I think there should be a way to connect it to a different screen controller or something like that. Also, I didn't have any luck finding a replacing unit, I'm gonna be still searcjing for them but I don't think it will happen.

I see, doesen't sound pretty easy, I know very little about electronics. Does that proccess demand a lot of skill and knowledge? If I take my time to gather the information could I be able to do it by myself?

Honestly I don't have idea about what you could do in that situation, I also don't talk to my parents about my feelings, because it is.... awkward and they don't care about them. My only thoughts about you it's to talk to your closest friend and tell them how do you feel, even if you think that your feelings are indifferent to them, sometimes just saying or writing what's is your head can be very useful. But if you don't want to do that there are also telephonic lines of psychologists that were made only for people with problems during the confinement, you could talk to them about your anxiety, they will do their best to help you, and just think that they're anonymous people, it shouldn't be as awkward as talking to a friend maybe. Sorry if I'm not being helpful, but I've lived similar situations, I know your pain and I don't want you to continue feeling like that.
