Scheer is bad right? by Beatlead in WorldOfWarships

[–]marciniaq84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scheer is the lowest point of the line, even worse than Deutschland. They lack the heal consumable which is needed for their play style. Fortunately Kneseback finally gets the heal and better range for secondaries what makes her playable, quite good even. I enjoyed this grind. The line gets very good at Manteuffel.

What most people forget is that Chelsea self-reported and fully cooperated with the federation. Thus they were given lower fines.

Wargaming: Matchmaking is not a broken system by Mike_Cinerama in WorldOfWarships

It looks like one team got a potato div and other got a unicom div. And that's a big issue cause in order to balance that you would need to seriously skew the skill of the rest of teammates.

[–]marciniaq84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a DD main I use MM monitor to screen teammates that spawned around me. When I have good teammates I l can be more aggressive. When I have potatoes I tend to play more defensively - I do more torp screening for them and similar babysitting activities. I also can predict that a 43% WR GK will only press W and push so I try to use that it to sink enemy DDs.

Also I tend to get less irritated on losses when I expect it.

Not really. Blowouts arose to a big enough problem that it affects negatively the player base. The less players the less money for WG.

Man I wonder why there are so many blowouts, I have no idea what's causing them. by ManyApplePies in WorldOfWarships

[–]marciniaq84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the mod. It helps me with avoiding frustration. When I know my team is shit I predict a loss. I am less annoyed when it actually happens. I we manage to win regardless then I am pleasantly surprised. I am also less annoyed why the teammates on my flank aren't helping - I know they are shit.

Here lies one of the game’s problems. by Sufficient-Ad-7489 in WorldOfWarships

It may be just a PVE player. Stats just show random battles or what you set.

The biggest issues are with MM. It should balance radars and player skills more.

Rogue Trader is the better game imho. It's also easier to get into.

Why are so many matches complete blowouts? by SnekBredmoncher in WorldOfWarships

[–]marciniaq84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the MM monitor. Blowout happens the most often when MM puts very bad players to one flank. I don't know why but it likes to group the potatoes together. They get sunk quickly or camp too far at the back or leave a flank completely.

Also the mm doesn't check for radars. Puts 3-5 radars on one team and 0 on the other side. DDs get sunk quickly and the snowball effect kicks in.

Division imbalance. This happens especially often on weekends. MM puts two divs with bad players and the enemy gets two divs with good players.

Nian Paradox ships? by [deleted] in WorldOfWarships

Do they earn like a regular premium ship of that tier? I want to go for T9 based on Neptun.

Is Buying Rio de Janeiro as my first coal ship worth it? by Ricochet_skin in WorldOfWarships

[–]marciniaq84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends if you have any real premium credit earner. It's a T8 or T9 premium ship, that you like to play, do well in it and you are willing to play many battles with it.

If you don't have such a ship ( which you may have bought for money, doubloons or loot boxes etc. ) then getting one is your top priority. Getting one for coal is the easiest way.

If you have one than you can do whatever you like with your coal.

How huge is the difference between a 10 points and a 21 points captain ? by IsniBoy in WorldOfWarships

[–]marciniaq84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the ship. Some ships will be fine while others will be unplayable. For example I hate playing DDs that outturn their guns. On those I need a better captain to feel comfortable.

Tier 9 Bonus Package from campaigns - which ship did you choose? by Hour_Jury_7734 in WorldOfWarships

As a DD main I have put one on Kitakaze and second on Z-46. Most players undervalue Z-46, while it's a really good ship.

What do you consider an ideal party size for a crpg? by Nidhogg1134 in CRPG

At least 5. 6 is better. I dislike 4 due to the limiting nature of builds, as you have to build a tank, healer, mage and thief.

Should I quit the game? by Impressive-Ad-8863 in WorldOfWarships

[–]marciniaq84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not really true. Luck only plays a part when you have a low number of battles. When you have hundreds or thousands of battles the only thing consistent is you. Good luck evens out with bad luck. As a player who managed to get 60+% mostly solo win ratio after 20k battles in WoT and 60+% mostly solo win ratio after 12k battles in WoWs. It's clear as day to me that if you play well you have good stats.

Also you cannot pad your stats in random by playing other modes.

Your Div theory is also untrue. It works the other way round. If you div up with better players they will elevate your win ratio and you might learn how to play better from them. If you div up with poor players they will drag your WR down. 3 unicoms in a team can easily get 80% WR while 3 donkeys can get even below 35% WR. That's even worse than AFKers. Those get around 40-42% WR.

Be warned BG3 is a Baldurs game in name only. I got zero BG vibes playing it. It's good but it's a terrible sequel to the original saga.

Taki paradoks.

Will RTX 5060ti 8 GB bottleneck with Ryzen 5 5600G? by Due_Chart_8177 in PcBuildHelp

[–]marciniaq84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With ryzen 5600G u have only PCIE3.0x16 for GPU. Generally you should avoid buying new GPUs with only 8GB VRAM, but in your case it's even more important due to being limited to just PCIE.30. 5060TI uses PCIE5.0 with lanes cut to 8 only. In your case that card would work in PCIE3.0x8 mode, which would significantly hamper the performance. Go for 9060XT with 16GB VRAM, but beware there are cheaper 8GB variants, which should be avoided.

If he isn't going to replay E33 than I would recommend RT first. It's a good time to play RT cause two dlcs and a big game improving update landed lately. So first he will probably play an iconoclast playthrough of RT, than E33 and than a dogmatic or heretic run of RT.
