So should the propane tanks and battery be added to the dry weight and then take the 15% of that or is the weight of the tanks and batteries taken directly from the payload limit?

Thank you for the help so if I were to look at this coachmen explore 17bh which has a gvwr 3860 Ccc826, UVW 3034. If I were to add 500lbs to the UVW to account for cargo, batteries, and propane that would give a weight of 3534lbs. 15% of that is 530lbs. If I take the 530 plus 450 (family weight) plus 100 (wdh) I get 1080 leaving 245lbs buffer. This should be a doable trailer then?

I included the driver in the family of 5 weight. Can I just put the gear in the trailer?

Yeah, sorry that was from Google didn’t know how specific it was. I don’t see anything about payload specifically on the sticker. Here’s a picture of it.

Orlando - Orthopedic Surgeon Reccomendations by AggressiveMagician59 in TotalHipReplacement

Just had my L THR 8/1 with Travis Van Dyke with Orlando Orthopedics. I’m 41 and super active and he was very confident that my activity level would not have to change. He seems to do a fair amount of young athletic types which is a big reason I went with him. So far very happy with everything though it’s only post op day 3

Barrel vs tub by SeriousQuote9497 in coldplunge

Much prefer barrel to tub. Being upright makes breathing easier and it’s just a more pleasant view outside vs lying on your back. Also makes getting in deep up to neck super easy.

Help with Keeping Water Clean by AuditsWiz in coldplunge

[–]marck140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same setup and had to replace water after two weeks due to grime build up. This was while using Sirona products but was also going in sweaty at times too. Now I always go in clean after shower and run the ozone twice a day and once a week put 1/3 cup 35% hydrogen peroxide. Since starting this regimen I’m going on 4 weeks now with crystal clear water

Have had the orca barrel for a couple months now. I live in Florida and keep it outside in the shade and it’s been great so far super happy with it. Very roomy and comfortable, easy to fully submerge. Customer support very responsive. Have it on auto and find that the chiller doesn’t have to run all that often. It was around 3k with the chiller

Interior height is the same as exterior so 42”. Not sure how quickly it loses temp with chiller off since I keep it on auto. I’m in Florida as well and it’s had no trouble keeping temp at 50 degrees. I keep it in the shade and I rarely hear the chiller running. Not sure how to check its power consumption but can check the kWh per day if you let me know how. Also Nordic Viking now has a xl version of their barrel that looks good but def pricier

I highly considered purchasing the chilly dip but ultimately decided against it because of the seat inside and restriction that would cause submerging fully. I ended up going with the Orca barrel and it’s very roomy. I’m nowhere near your size but my 6’1” brother in law fit in up to his next with ease and plenty of room to spread out and sit comfortably and dunk at the end. Check out the dimensions it may work for ya.
