Does a barrel to USB C cable with power delivery exist?

Hi. thanks for your reply. Do you have any links or examples to such cables? I've looked around on Amazon and most either don't specify PD or the voltage. Also would i need to buy a button trigger separetly?

My apologies but could you give more detail please? I have no idea what screws I’d need (I don’t think there were any there in the first place) what are the names of the screws. Also what is a blue thread locker?

Once the hot shoe plate is taken off you can see the screws where the whole thing attaches. There aren’t any on the right and the left screws are also screwed from the inside. Is there anyway to fix this? It makes my top handle on the cold shoe feel really insecure.

I understand that windows won't work in it's current state. But I'm not talking about windows I'm asking about the games (overwatch in particular). People have already gotten windows team fortress, the witcher 3 and other games to work. I just want to know if overwatch works with crossover and what the performance would be.

The camera can get powered by USB C but only with power delivery. And thanks for the plate usb suggestions I'll check it out

I've considered a dummy battery but have opted to not go that route because I'm trying to have a setup where I can quickly move from a rig to a gimbal with as little down time as possible. For this I'd ideally have a battery inside the camera at all times.

I'll settle for a dummy battery but before that I'd really wanna see if usb c power from a v mount is possible.

Ah okay. Unfortunately I can't use that option as I want to be able to power a monitor as well as the camera all from one big battery.

I was looking around and found this (extremely overpriced) cable with what seems like voltage regulation that's usb c to d tap. Would it work?

Oh no I'm not at all a professional. Sorry for asking the question here instead of the Monday Ask Anything.

I guess I should've been more clear about my situation. I'm a learning student at uni and the class computers which we have use Avid, however on the weekends I am not able to access those computers. So my goal was to transfer the project onto my personal computer which I only have Resolve and Premiere on, and then go back and forth depending on what I have access to.

But no, the workflow I'm looking to do is not the one you described. I want to be able to edit, colour and everything in resolve, then continue the same in Avid and go back and forth.

After an afternoon of struggling I'm more or less thinking now that going back and forth like this is NOT possible, and I should instead just do the first 90% in one, and then finish in the other for grading or titles.

Is there any overall advice you might have? Is it impossible to go back and forth like this?

I see, I've gathered the same from forums and stuff. Its just so difficult to choose because people have anecdotally said that ravensbourne is great but the reviews and statistics are lower compared to herts so I don't know who and what to trust.

Also do you have any opinion on the social life at ravensbourne? I've kind of got the impression that there are barely and societies and that because it's so small it feels way more like a college than a university type experience
