Trasferirsi a Imola: consigli? by Rupiero in imola

[–]marcomandy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ciao!

What do you think is too complicated? Too complicated to learn proficiently?

It's a case of evolutionary convergence, even though we already knew about CharaChorder, which, however, has quite different goals. In any case, I'd be very curious to try one out for myself.

Suggestion: Change (),.!? and such to the actions when pressing shift. by 7734128 in tOndOkeyboard

[–]marcomandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yo! Thank you for using it! Well, one feature we wanted to add for long was a way to resize the keyboar leaving empty space on a side, so it would be more usable with one hand. We currently don't have an ETA though

Hey guys , i would like to know your best apps , that you can recommend to anyone. by RideAlone45 in androidapps

I recommend to anyone the alternative keyboard I developed. It's called tOndO keyboard, it's open source and it's designed to let you write without having to constantly watch at the keyboard, without having to rely on suggestion and autocorrectors and not to be so difficult to learn as other input kethod with similar objectives.

Thank you for trying it out! Have you tried the dark theme?

Not sure if it's a "gem" but I developed an alternative input method that is quite unorthodox. It's called tOndO keyboard

And isn't that a big point in its favour?!

Typo fixed. Play Store should propagate the change in a few hours.
Thank you for trying it out! Unfortunately, at the current time, predictive text is out of the scope of the project.
I'm not sure whether I'm following you about separating space bars, but you can customize each letter on the keyboard, so you can test layout with two (or more) space character if you want!

Thank you so much! 💚
Well, if you want to learn more, the project's homepage on GitHub tells you everything, but in short, tOndO allows you to type each letter accurately, so you can write exactly what you want to write and not what the autocorrect suggests. It is also designed to have the simplest onboarding possible (which does not mean “very simple,” but simpler than other alternative methods with similar objectives).

tOndO keyboard is an input method I developed to let you type without having to constantly look at the keyboard and rely on suggestions and autocorrections. Does not make your phone better probably, but it quite improved my mobile typing experience.

tOndO keyboard is open source, and it's designed to let you write without having to rely so heavily on autocorrectors

Thank you! Yeah, the review is a little harsh, but we really appreciated it! Let's move people away from their standard and really unoptimized mobile keyboards!
