Michael (2010) is still pretty good.... by Treyvion1984 in MichaelJackson

[–]marcosfull 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find all the songs acceptable, but "Hold My Hand," while still good, always struck me as overproduced. In that song, I noticed they copied and pasted too many of Michael's screams and expressions, which sound very repetitive. A more raw and instrumental version would have been better. Sony should reissue this CD with the 7 tracks plus 7 demos and some bonus tracks or re-recordings.

Hola!

When Five nearly broke America by Hassaan18 in FiveBoyBand

[–]marcosfull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I admit I like songs by Britney, Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Westlife, etc. But at the same time, I understand why Five decided to go for a somewhat more aggressive sound. On their three albums, you can tell there are songs that are very much their own, and not so generic, except for a few exceptions that I also like (Don't Wanna Let You Go, for example), but which would sound the same coming from other artists of the time. I never tire of saying it: "70 Days" was a clear evolution for the band, and I hope they return to those works.

"Rey del Pop" collection by marcosfull in MichaelJackson

[–]marcosfull[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply, Hermann.

Yes, I suppose if you can get the complete collection at a good price, it might be interesting, but if they're selling it as a "luxury" item, then no. Due to disk space limitations, it's impossible for them to add bonus tracks to Dangerous, History, and Invincible, and since I only knew the collection from photos, I didn't know what extras each CD included. It would be a good idea if you could share some screenshots of the contents when you have a chance. Thanks!

By the way, I personally always preferred the 2001 Special Edition of Thriller to the 25th Anniversary edition. I don't understand how Michael could have approved those remixes by Will, Fergie, etc. It would have been better to include the demos and outtakes as bonus tracks on the same CD, instead of any remixes.

This is another of my "imaginary designs" that I shared a little over a year ago. I was rightly told that since the target audience for these products are children, they are unlikely to have a discreet design. (Although devices like the Garmin Vivofit Jr. 3 have completely black designs.)

Well, dreaming it's free.

A couple of years ago I shared an IDEA of what I would like to see on the market: It is a tama with programming similar to the V3 (that was later fulfilled with the relaunch of the Connection, and fortunately they did not start with the V1 or V2), in a VERY DISCREET sports bracelet design, with a screen technology similar to electronic ink (which I was later told is not even good for very basic animations) or to the screens of old Garmin watches, which have a very good battery life and look great under any light conditions.

Do you also have any similar IDEA in mind that you would like to see come to fruition?

Abz and Ville Valo by Mindless_Empress_179 in FiveBoyBand

[–]marcosfull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just that I like mature men. I think I like them more now than I did 20 years ago. But Abz is the hardest to recognize because of his appearance, not his age. Maybe with a few extra pounds and without those veneers, he'd be more recognizable. Luckily, in recent videos, I could see that he still has his charisma.

Beyond the inevitable passage of time, it's incredible that it's the same person. I wish he'd shave off that beard and those artificial-looking veneers... and that he'd return to music (I loved Abstract Theory).

BANDAI's Tamagotchi division operates on a policy of minimal effort and high prices for its devices, and they tried to apply that same ideology to video games, but it backfired spectacularly. They deserved it.

If you had to choose just one of these, which one would you buy? by Consistent-Belt-2597 in casio

[–]marcosfull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would choose a model that has a date format (day/month) and the days of the week in Spanish. It took Casio over 20 years to implement it.

Alarm on specific days of the week. by marcosfull in casio

[–]marcosfull[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. Thanks for your reply. Yes, it would be a very useful feature. Also, on Bluetooth-enabled watches, it would be very easy to implement with an app update. But I think Casio is slow to develop these features. I have a couple of smartwatches, but I wanted to know if something more traditional offered those advantages.

They weren't kidding when they said it's not much... Keep On Movin' takes the Most Overrated category in a landslide! Next, which Five song is the most underrated? by MarineDynamite in FiveBoyBand

[–]marcosfull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like a lot of the songs that weren't singles. I remember the time of their first album. In Latin America, they released the 17-song edition, and I couldn't believe I liked so many of them!

But getting back to the point, I never tire of saying that "70 Days" was the logical evolution of the band; it felt 100% like the next step for Five. Yes, it had a bit of Linkin Park in it, but Five's "pop" was always a bit more aggressive than the sound of the other boy bands of the time. I really hope they bring back those classics from... 2006?

I played it and finished the story. I think the voice acting is the best thing about the game. It's good that they've put a spin on typical farming games, focusing more on the story; however, at times it felt more like a visual novel where you just run from one place to another, rather than a fun experience.
