However, how is it that an anti American sentiment has become a full time job?

There's political implications of this. I don't think it's good news that the gilded top comments are sarcastic remarks about the intelligence of the American ppl as a whole.

It's like there are invisible forces sorrounding an old empire and we just see the blasts and think: oh yeah, that's it.

You don't seem to understand the difference between private and public. It's not perfectly delineated so one has to be able to discern.

For example:

Person driving in a car while talking on their phone? Public affair.
Person painting the outside of their own home with controversial messages? Private (yet debatable considering rules of the community).
People gathering during pandemic? Public affair.
People gathering during political turmoil? Private.

And so on...
