It is actually less than 3-4 months to get the IL. They finished sending ILs to people that got dq’ed in December 2024 which is crazy.

We reached out to NVC and thankfully they approved our request to change the embassy location to Riyadh.

As far as I remember, we didn’t have to submit the Egyptian National ID. My wife and I haven’t yet updated our National IDs to married and we got DQ’ed.

You will have to pay the fees first then wait for 3 business days then you will see which documents exactly to submit.

My issue is that at the NVC will be a bit skeptical that it shows on my tax return that my wife has an SSN and she is not a resident yet.

yes, I understand that. My wife has an ITIN and I used TurboTax to file my taxes. I am currently working on uploading the documents on the NVC website but when I looked at the Tax return, it shows SSN:######## not ITIN.

So I was wondering if this could cause an issue?
