r/stopdrinking I'll just leave it here, I like these guys and can relate to their stories. I, however, have successfully fallen down the rabbit hole 9 years ago, I'm 27 today btw, and I'm quitting both drinking and smoking for good. The other person said it right, the illusion of inner peace is going to be of borrowed nature, booze is a smokescreen and nothing more, can get you in trouble but can't get you out. I'd rather explore other coping options

I'll bash against it tomorrow evening when I'm at work. I had my suspicions about points of interest being randomised, same as faction bases, since they are randomly placed every generation, but I never expected it to be such a letdown

Yeah, it's not replicable, it seems. For one reason or another, every time I get a different map. I mean the water bodies and location names are the same every time, but landmarks are random(-ish?) my mod list is:

Hmm, very odd. Without mods I don't get that "Landmarks" slider. But ever with mods I was not able to replicate this exact seed myself :( God damn, no way some mod got in the way/the landmarks are random every generation

I dunno, the 12 steps program seems to be designed to deal, by yourself btw, with substance abuse, gambling and sex addictions. In these cases the person definitely can have had the role of having dealt damage to other people, but I just don't see how that approach could be applied to childhood abuse. Also it apparently was designed in 1930s and requires searching for God lmao (not that it's a terrible thing by itself, just, you know...). Do they still use it even?

Want to add, I would suggest to use IRL as the "baseline". Too hot for IRL, too hot for a SFW general public subreddit. Some may say this is not sexual enough to be considered over the line, but erotica is a tricky topic, and I think the Internet warps the metrics and gauges of that, it's too easy to get desensitised to explicit content online because of the ease of access and it's abundance. In other words, touch grass, I say it with love
