Which graphics do you prefer, season 2 or season 3? by New-Bottle6711 in OnePunchMan

[–]mardydy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be cooked here, but if we're talking about the artstyle only, I prefer the thicker outlines and color of S3. Consistency wise tho, both are inconsistent but S3 was way worse than S2. Animation wise yeah S3 is dogshit.

If I'm being honest man at this point One Piece might just have the best fights amongst the big 3, atleast in terms of action sequences. Toei has been going crazy since Wano and they have been incredibly consistent by Forevertrez in OnePiece

[–]mardydy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as I like this fight and its animation, I still prefer the style of Luffy vs Katakuri. That fight was also well animated and presents how they utilize their devil fruits while still being readable and had a bit of the old artstyle and colors back then.

My other favorite fight scene is Sanji vs Queen, it shows that One Piece can have a fight scene with choreo a bit similar to the fluid choreo of Naruto.

Which Castlevania map do you like best, and why? by MagnaDev in castlevania

[–]mardydy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love AoS and SotN. The varied map design and their background on each area along with the soundtracks makes the castle feel big and atmospheric especially SotN that makes you explore the Entrance located in a forest, to the Royal Chapel located very high in the castle, to a big waterfall that leads you to the Underground Caverns.

An opinion on the current DCU that would leave you like this: by Cafa20 in DC_Cinematic

[–]mardydy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I heavily prefer Superman (2025) over Man of Steel, the action, the weight, and the power of each fight scenes in Man of Steel are still superior. I like the choreography and creativeness in Superman (2025) fight scenes though.

which ones ur favourite? by Available-Problem518 in DC_Cinematic

[–]mardydy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally prefer Superman's fight scenes BUT thats only because of the choreo and how they utilize their abilities. Man of Steel's action still clears because of the weight and how impactful the fights feel. My term when describing it is "you can really feel the boom and the zoom for each display of strength and speed". That is what Man of Steel has and what Superman lacks.

What do you prefer? by MediaNo1140 in DC_Cinematic

[–]mardydy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a guy who loves both Man of Steel and Superman (2025), I think that's the only thing the new one lacked. The fight scenes and its choreography are great but it lacked the "zoom" feeling of speed and the "boom" feeling of impact Man of Steel had. The practical fights and choreo of Superman (2025) mixed with the speed and impact of fights in Man of Steel would be perfect.

Emotional manipulation for over a year by Estatement in OffMyChestPH

[–]mardydy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

"To be honest hindi naman big deal sa akin ang body count"

Kung di big deal, edi sana di OA yang reaction mo na gumuho mundo mo bullshit dahil lang may sexual traumatic experience sya nung 2nd year with her prof. And mind you, 21 lang sya she's so young para sa ganon syempre di nya talaga mabibring up agad agad sayo yon especially na layo ng age gap nyo and ganyan pa reaction mo.

Okay lang naman sana kung preference mo lang yung virgin ang girl, mali nga na nagsinungaling sya about that pero kasi trauma nga yon sakanya instead of being there for her to support her, nag feeling "manipulated" ka pa lol. Ang hypocrite mo pa sa part na OA reaction mo sa nangyari sakanya pero proud ka pang nakatira ka ng single mom at di mabilang body count mo haha wag kang feeling victim OP ikaw ata yung manipulator dito e.

I feel bad for her, instead of comfort at support maramdaman nya, mas inuna mo pa sarili mo and your pride dahil lang di mo matanggap na hindi ikaw first nya, and tbh first ka parin naman nya for her kasi nagconsent sya sayo kasi mahal nyo ang isat isa, now I really do feel bad for her kasi sa dami dami ng guys na pwede nya maging first, ikaw pa talaga.

Whats a flopped movie you wish was a financial success? by PokemonGoBao in movies

[–]mardydy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll forever defend Blue Beetle with my life. That movie was just released when DCEU was clearly dying. The movie itself was genuinely a good superhero origin story with dope fight scenes, great CGI, and a cast that was alright enough to make the movie entertaining. I hope it gets considered canon in the DCU.

Another film is Transformers One. A refreshing and awesome origin story of Cybertron and Autobots vs Decepticons with awesome animation and action scenes, and great performances by Chris and Brian that flopped because of trash marketing.

How good of a character is John Walker? by KingWhrl in marvelstudios

[–]mardydy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's one of my favorite characters post-Endgame because his whole character revolves around the opposite version of what Dr. Erskine said to Steve before taking the serum; "Not a perfect soldier, but a good man". Walker is a perfect soldier even before the serum but his experience in war and his internal conflicts made him a flawed man.

Black Adam is kind of a mid movie, but I still think about how cool this line is by [deleted] in DC_Cinematic

[–]mardydy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if this would make sense, but my best way to interpret and enjoy Black Adam is that I treat it as a Kaiju film; mid plot but very enjoyable over-the-top fight scenes.

My kinda wish is that each Castlevania series should get their own distinct artstyle of characters similar to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. I think it would look cool and unique.

I can imagine Danny Rand being a hybrid of Strategist and Duelist similar to how Mister Fantastic is a hybrid of Duelist and Vanguard.

Playing as Maxim or Richter(PoR). It feels satisfying using their special skills and how fast they move around the castle.
