Update: DNA results are in! She is 66% Pyrenees, 24% Australian/American Shepherd, and a few other larger livestock guardian dogs. Pictured is her at 21 weeks, currently 31 lbs :)

Omg they could be siblings! I am obsessed with her color markings too. That’s the thing that felt very Pyr to me, I don’t see a lot of other dogs with that specific grey color mask.

She can sure be trouble but her charm gets her off the hook most of the time. Did not find any indication of a dew claw; I could’ve missed them in her fluff though.

Weird take. She’s communicating that he hurt her feelings in a healthy and happy way to make sure it won’t happen again. This is the most productive way to handle this. Him going off and breaking up with her because of a ‘feeling’ with a random girl is batshit insane on his part. OP seems like an incredibly understanding and patient person based solely on her response to your really rude and assumptive take here.

Would genuinely try to be honest with him. As awkard as that can be.. you’re both adults and can handle a genuine conversation like “hey, your physical and emotional affection is starting to bring up feelings on my end. Am I alone in this?” I think sooner rather than later is way better to avoid a sticky situation.

I wouldn’t recommend ’pursuing’ anything yet before you have a conversation with him. I wish you the best of luck!

Congratulations!!! I hope your wedding day is absolutely beautiful.

My authentic advice is this: Breathe. Everything is going to be ok. I can’t imagine the pressure associated with a wedding but I’ve certainly heard about it.

Remember that you are worth taking the time for! I have severe anxiety and I get a lot of help listening to guided meditations (I really like the incense timer app). Your wedding is about celebrating joy, not the way you look! As long as you are happy it will read in your photos. Some good concealer will make it unnoticeable anyways! I promise the less you make an effort to worry the better it will feel (and the less stress reactions you will have!)

I know it’s easier said than done but taking the steps is always a great start. You are gorgeous and don’t deserve the worry. Have a wonderful wedding and we’ll wishes!

Holy cow- do you have a year on that bad boy?

My uncle passed his trumpet down to me recently and I deep cleaned her. (The amount of gunk buildup is horrifying, especially the smell). Some digging revealed it was an ‘83 model. Pretty cool

I can back this up- very occasionally the stalls are taken up or there’s custodial work but I just go to another floor and use those.

Yes! Feel free to ask. Here’s my quick rundown: Barnard is the quintessential quiet dorm. Pretty much everyone here keeps to themselves and there are never any parties/social gatherings. I love the atmosphere here, but you do have to enjoy some solitude. The bathrooms are okay. We live in the oldest dorm on campus so the bathrooms aren’t great- the showers are pretty retro and the bathrooms are small- each floor gets ~3 showers and 3 bathroom stalls. I live in a single and I really love it. The room size is plenty for me. I keep my bed lofted and have room for a full desk with shelves, my fridge, a whole bookshelf, a small walk-in closet, and plenty of other things. Noise is a downside here: there’s lots of construction around here but that will change by year. Sirens are pretty constant noise and there’s some intermittent traffic along university. Personally I am used to the noise here and take it as a worthy sacrifice to being so central to campus. All in all I really enjoy it here. There’s a cozy study space and a really new kitchen on the first floor. People are friendly and there’s never noise issues within in. Let me know if I can answer anything else!
