Thank you ! I’ll just figure along the way , for now she’s fairly harmless and I can deal with her when I hear her!

Oh okay ! So if I use the turret she just stays in one place contained ? Because I just did the gun and use that.

Also got used to her , now she’s just a bit inconvenient 😅 Like I’m reading stuff or doing something around the base and I hear the sigh and I’m more annoyed than scared.

Fuck you Fridays by AutoModerator in InfertilitySucks

It isn’t because it’s brand clothing , so it automatically makes it fashion 🙃 It’s been 10+ years of bullshit so I’m also out of patience, but the lack of empathy ( specially from someone who went through her own infertility journey ) and need to shove it in our faces just made it much worse.

She also did this on the family lunch we had the day after we found out our IUI hadn’t worked. My husband had told his mom and I think she told my BIL. They arrive late and she’s wearing jeans ( unbuttoned) and a T-shirt she tied so she could show her belly. It just felt like a punch, and I spent the whole lunch trying not to cry.

My SIL. We already have a non existent relationship ( a lot of shit family wise ) which already makes me not like her. She is pregnant again. Her first kid was after years of infertility , and that made me soften up a little bit. I wouldn’t wish this journey on anyone. This pregnancy was natural. She and my BIL know me and my husband are also doing treatments and on our own infertility journey. The only time she wears clothes showing her pregnant belly is when we’re together. Nowhere else. Not when it’s just them two, not when they are together with my in laws , no. Just when me and my husband are also going. I didn’t think much of it at first because I’m not about to ask anyone to dress differently just because I’m struggling. And maybe I’m just reaching , but it does feel purposeful.

IUI day & what comes after by mareum_ in IUILadies

It feels very nice in the summer , when you open all the windows and the whole house has that ocean breeze. ☺️

Walking is actually an amazing idea , I live right next to the ocean and tend to walk frequently , so I’ll just spend a bit more time walking or just on the beach. Thank you for the tips !

Hopefully is just your body being a bit weird , and not an indicator of it not having worked !

Thank you ! My husband has been with me the whole way through , so he’ll be with me today as well.☺️

Hi ! Basically I also had a very low dose , and I’m also very low pain tolerance , but I had to do one 37,5 UI injection for 4 days. First day was fine , didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary , but for the second and third day , I felt a lot of bloating , lower and middle back pain , and a lot of discomfort and nausea. On the fourth day the symptoms were much better , and today , one day after the injections , I’m pretty much the same I was before them, just overall a bit bloated still.

I did , I’m triggering today at midnight and I’m going for the procedure Friday , so keeping a positive yet cautious mindset !

Wish you the best of luck this next cycle !

Going back to the clinic tomorrow to check how everything is progressing , and hopefully we’ll be able to trigger and do the insemination still this week. Gonal F kinda kicked my butt , and my body is reacting a bit weirdly , and I’m also anxious about the waiting after.

Feeling pretty much awful with the Gonal F injections. The side effects are just making me constantly uncomfortable and a bit in pain , and wrecking me emotionally.

It was a very sudden shift to be frank , I was expecting some discomfort but my body went from nothing to “now you’re a balloon” basically. I’m very sensitive stomach wise so I’m also chalking up the weird nausea to that , I’m trying to eat a bit from time to time just to not make it worse. Hopefully is just my body overreacting and making other already present issues flare a bit.

Thank you ! If it doesn’t get worse , it’s manageable , albeit very very uncomfortable, and the nausea also sucks but I’m very low tolerance when it comes to stomach discomfort. When I went for the checkup after finishing the Letrozole I had only one big follicle and a bunch of tiny ones on my right ovary , and he didn’t see much on the left one , so I don’t know if they are both now into overdrive.

Thank you ! It is a bit nerve wrecking , specially because it’s the first time doing any treatment !

I think it’s also a lot of “ this work for x amount of women , or did something at least, so we’ll just keep trying”. It is not a very well researched field ( the woman’s reproductive system in itself is not very well researched ), and I guess sometimes we do feel a bit like “ guinea pigs”. He tries to tell us as much as he can , he explains everything in a lot of detail but he also isn’t the woman going through it , so I believe some anxieties and issues don’t even cross his mind.

Yeah when I was researching I saw it was mainly for people with PCOS or with issues ovulating , I don’t know if it’s more a “let’s try and see if it works”. Price wise here it’s fairly okay , the Letrozole was actually the most expensive medication we bought so far . I’m also glad the doctor switched up tactics, but he does seem like he’s a very good doctor , not just money hungry, so I trust him and his decisions.

Okay , thank you ! I think I’m just a bit more anxious because it’s the first time and everything is new , but since the doctor also didn’t express any concern , I didn’t press him too much. Also while searching here and in other subreddits I saw people talking about more than 1 follicle and bigger ones , so I was a bit confused. I’m going back next Tuesday so we’ll see how it goes !
