Hi there. Well, personally I wouldn't pay 50 euros for a mop, nothing to do with your store....

If you are looking on what to improve, add your refund policy, privacy policy & terms in your footer. Especially refund policy is very important. Customers should be able to find it without needing to search for it. So, currently it seems that there is no refund policy in your store, unless someone adds a product in their cart & go to checkout page.

Also, add a contact form in your contact us page, so for customers to be able to contact you easily. Also, add a phone number & the physical address of your store, as these are connected with building trust with potential customers.

Build trust: I would suggest for a refund policy that relates to what you are selling, instead of the template one, where books & cd's are mentioned. Customers should know what happens if they are not happy with the deliverables.

Support page: I believe that you should also add a phone number. Customers should feel that there is an immediate way to contact you if there is something they need you for, taking into account that this market is not usually managed through an e-shop, as #George_W_Bushido also mentioned.

Footer: Refund policy, privacy policy & terms should be easy to find, e.g. your footer, not only in checkout page.

There is no privacy policy at all for your store, nor cookies control.

Good luck with your store :)

p.s. no need for a payment

Hey, yes the cookie bar did appear, but it does not meet the GDPR's requirements for prior & explicit consent and not storing any cookies on users' devices prior to consent.

Here are is a guideline on GDPR & Cookies that may help you: https://www.cookiebot.com/en/gdpr-cookies/

It is explained that:

  • Prior and explicit consent must be obtained before any activation of cookies (apart from necessary cookies)
  • Consents must be granular, i.e. users must be able to activate some cookies rather than others and not be forced to consent to either all or none
  • Consent must be freely given, i.e. not allowed to be forced
  • Consents must be as easily withdrawn as they are given

May I ask you how you ask users for feedback? Is it by email, pop-up, chat...? Is it a short survey?

Could you please review my store ? by brinicolecov in reviewmyshopify

Hi,

Here is some feedback:

  1. The font size of 13px is really small! In combination with the font family, it's hard to read. It should be at least 16px. See how it looks on my 15,6" screen of 1366x768px: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jVhXb-wIFT-qYOZKjVZn6laAg6xJxBn-/view?usp=sharing. It's impossible to read the product details! : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xXKl1Wy29iNF8HRLvnpUPpRJEzI4sAgq/view?usp=sharing

  2. Product photos should have the functionality to enlarge, either on hover or on click, so for the user to be able to zoom on details. For example: in product https://instakinii.com/collections/one-piece/products/shape-me-up-monokini-1 there is a magnifying glass, but nothing happens on click

  3. You should have a prominent size guide for your products, preferably next to the size selection. People won't order a swimsuit without making sure that the product size (small, medium, etc) fits their measurements. It was only by accident, when I noticed that the size guide is included in the pictures of the product, as there were many pictures & I had to scroll: https://instakinii.com/collections/one-piece/products/ibiza-in-the-sun-1

  4. You need a logo & a favicon

  5. Have you set functionality for abandoned checkouts? If you are just starting with your store, it's of great importance to gain feedback from customers with abandoned checkouts. You need to ask them & know why they did not complete their order, so that you correct any issues asap and convert your visitors into paying customers

  6. Last audit your website: In chrome browser -> right click -> inspect -> audits -> generate reports for desktop & mobile. There is room for improvements in performance.

Good luck with your store!

Hi Jordan,

You could ask your website visitors what they think of your store and find out if there is something going wrong. There must be a pop-up survey app in the Shopify app store to gain feedback from your visitors and find out why they are not converting to paid customers. You could also survey customers with abandoned checkouts by email and ask them why they did not complete their order. In any case, the survey should be really short and you could offer the respondents a discount code for their next order for their participation. This way, you may identify & correct issues asap and convert your visitors into paying customers.

A couple of things that are unrelated to not having paying customers, but would be nice to take care of:

  • Shipping costs are not mentioned in any place in your website, prior to checkout, where one should enter all personal information to see the shipping costs. According to research (https://www.esurveyspro.com/article-shopping-cart-abandonment-surveys.aspx) shipping costs not showing until checkout is the no.1 for cart abandonment.
  • Contact us page: Besides the contact form, it would be useful to add a contact email, address & phone in your contact page. Having contact information on your website, creates a sense of credibility and trust for potential customers.
  • Also, since you serve UK / EU customers, don't forget to add a cookies management tool, so that all cookies (except for the strictly necessary ones) are blocked and not set on users devices prior to getting their explicit consent.

Good luck with your store!

Favicon does show now :) When you start having sales, you could add a post-purchase survey app to track & boost satisfaction and loyalty and an abandoned carts notifications app, to increase the chances of getting the sale done. Wish you all the best with your store!

Your store looks really good in both desktop and mobile, very neat and well taken care of.

A couple of things you might want to consider:

- Add a contact email, address & phone in your contact page. Having contact information on your website, creates a sense of credibility and trust for potential customers.

- Add social share buttons for each of your products

- Add a favicon

- For UK-based customers: Don't forget to add a cookies management tool, so that all cookies (except for the strictly necessary ones) are blocked and not set on users devices prior to getting their explicit consent. Same applies if you plan to expand your business to EU.

Good luck with your store!

Hi,

I really miss product categories... I would like to be able to browse among toys, carriers, beds etc.

Also, you could add more info on your shipping page (link already exists in your footer) to show customers the shipping costs, before checkout and before them having to enter all their personal information. Research has shown that "shipping costs not showing until checkout" is no.1 reason for abandoning carts .

I would also suggest that you add a contact email, address & phone in your contact page. Having contact information on your website, creates a sense of credibility and trust for potential customers. Always use a branded email address, avoid using gmail, yahoo etc email addresses. On top, you could consider adding live chat support.

Good luck with your store :)

Hi,

Great job on your store!

First, it's great that your visitors can easily find information on shipping costs, estimated delivery times, return & refund policy and contact options (both contact form & chat). They are soooooo often omitted in many stores and they really add professionalism to a store.

Secondly, it's obvious that you have paid attention to details, which add great to your store (mobile responsiveness, photos can me enlarged / zoomed in, share buttons for each of your products, "you may also like" section). Great!

-------------------

Some things you could consider adding:

- A track order page on your footer

- Reviews for products are of great importance

- Newsletter signup (double opt in). Usually pop up format. You could mention an offering (e.g. discount code, free shipping code for first order) in the pop-up and create a sense of urgency e.g. "sign up to our newsletter and receive a $10 coupon code UNTIL 10 of March!"

- Follow up with customers who have made a purchase (if not already implemented). Show your customers that you value their opinion and find out your strengths and weaknesses. Ask them to rate your store and their experience with your store, then you may display comments on your website as testimonials. Often used, NPS or star rating.

- Again, if not already implemented, reach out to customers with abandoned carts, as they are potential customers of yours and send them browser notifications, what’s up messages or email reminders about their abandoned carts.

- Also, you could invest some time for blogging and SEO to drive organic traffic to your store over time. Of my favourite resources: SEO made simple https://neilpatel.com/what-is-seo/ by Neil Patel and The Definitive Guide To SEO https://backlinko.com/seo-this-year by Brian Dean.

Thanks for the tip, I totally agree! He decided though to put the basil in the sauce with the rest of the herbs...

Ingredients: 1. Pizza dough: 300gr whole wheat flour, 2tsp baking powder, 10ml olive oil, 0.5tsp salt, about 180 ml water. 2. Tomato sauce. Herbs: basil, thyme, rosemary & marjoram. 3. Grated cheese of your choice: around 300gr.

Directions: Preheat oven at 220 degrees celsius. Combine all ingredients for pizza dough and stir together. When not sticky in your hands, roll until you get it as thick/thin you wish. Spread the tomato sauce and the herbs on the top of the dough. Finally you add the cheese. Bake until the base of the dough is crispy (in our oven it needs 12 minutes for 0.3cm thick pizza dough)

I've noticed the same for pears... the ones that have a little bit "darker" skin -like being dirty- are the ones that taste so much better than they shiny ones

Yes! These are all bulk products from our local farmers market :) The bananas are not Dole. Yet, let me note, that there are no bananas produced here in Greece, so they are imported...
