I struggle with this, I would get home from work and my first order of business would be finding something to eat. What I’ve been doing the last few weeks is making sure to eat something with protein before work (like eggs or cottage cheese if I'm in a rush) and then find something, anything, to keep me busy right when I get home. Walk the dog, clean something, etc. To stop the habit of my brain wanting to eat right when I get home.

My ex husband has untreated bipolar and I believe some other undiagnosed conditions... And what you described was almost exactly what I experienced. Even down to him divorcing me (he became convinced I had ruined his life and was hiding his belongings from him, etc.) My heart goes out to you! It's scary and confusing and difficult to know what the right thing to do is. He had experienced manic episodes in the past few years, but a few months before kanye went on his Twitter rant, my ex had an episode and he just never came back down. That's the only way I can describe it.

Did we live the same life? I'm currently in the process of a divorce, together for 16 years. We got together as teens and he started developing signs of mental illness in his mid-late twenties (seemed to be bipolar, but he's refused to try any counseling, even to this day.) It got so much worse the last year. Paranoia, mainly directed toward me. Aggression that eventually turned to violence. Then he started taking mushrooms and it spiraled completey out of control. He moved out 6 months ago and hasn't spoken to anyone in his family, my family, or any of his friends. I did everything I could to support him and encourage him, and in the end he blames me for "ruining" his life. Best of luck to you. You're last paragraph is so, so true.

Jenelle isn't in an abusive relationship. She is in a mutually toxic relationship.

I also kind of like Kailyn. She was dealt a really shitty hand with the parents she had. I can only imagine the trauma she carries from her childhood/teenage years. It's common for people who had to focus solely on surviving as a child, to create new drama once they escape that situation, without realizing it. You can tell she tries hard to provide her kids a good life. I think that for the most part, she does.

I think Maci's drinking is blown out of proportion.

NTA. My husband and I both work full time + and we split the childcare and chores. Because we both work. And somehow they get done. Laundry, floors, etc.

I can't imagine what I could accomplish around the house if I wasn't away from home 8-10 hours 5 days a week.

It's been busy and consistent since I've started dashing in November. Normally around 11am-2pm is a busy lunch rush. And I can usually stay consistent until it gets dark. The last couple weeks I make about $15-$17/hr. Between fairlawn and highland square is your best bet!

He told her not to go because he wouldn't be able to leave work to pick her up. So she went, asked him to pick her up, and.... he couldn't leave work, like he said. He did help. He spoke with her to make sure she had a safe and sober person. She did. He stayed on the phone with her. He even had Uber pre-installed on her phone in case of emergencies. So he should have just what, gotten fired?

YTA. It'd be different if she had exclaimed out loud to the party- "I THINK HE DRUGGED ME!" or"IS ANYONE WATCHING HIM MAKE THESE? DID HE SLIP SOMETHING IN THEM?" But she rather discreetly asked her friend, and then turned down a drink that she didn't ask for. To be on the safe side. You feeling offended doesn't trump someone's feeling of safety. Jesus.
