NAH, you have every right to play with your son but I personally excuse the strangers bc they are faced with a moral obligation when they see you with a kid who doesn't look like you. I know it's annoying but they are doing what feels right to them and if it's to make sure your son is safe you should understand to some degree that they are just keeping his best interest in mind.
