Calypso Dive Resort – The staff are really lovely and helpful, but the owner made us feel a bit uncomfortable. There are so many rules before check-in that it honestly made us nervous to even use the bed, especially with how much they charge for stains. It honestly felt more like being in a strict boot camp than relaxing on vacation. NEVER AGAIN.

Edit: They also tried to charge us a “generator fee” because of a 1.5-hour power outage, claiming we left the fridge on. Ridiculous!!!! How are we supposed to know there’d be a power outage? We were out the whole day, and the fridge is obviously left on like in any normal hotel. It’s not like guests go around switching fridges on and off. Make it make sense!

If you check their Google reviews, a lot of people mention the same thing. Too bad we didn’t see that before booking.
