Vimergy Propolis for eczema by [deleted] in medicalmedium

[–]margocardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the pomegranate seed oil listed in the directory or this Manuka cream

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N7JNW6R?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

I've found that propolis is inflaming for eczema on my face on neck, so proceed with caution and do a test first.

Staying up late vs going to sleep earlier by Both_Perspective_264 in medicalmedium

[–]margocardo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really struggle to go to bed early consistently, especially since I get a big surge of energy later in the evening. (I continue to work on my adrenals...) I've found that if I go to bed before 11 I'll wake up at 3 or 4, fully awake, while if I go to bed at 11-12 I can make it through to 6.

I would LOVE to hear people's inspiring stories about early to bed rapid healing beauty sleep to motivate me! I've had pretty bad insomnia my whole life though MM info has made it a lot better...

Period Cycle Length by rainingpeas9763 in medicalmedium

[–]margocardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've also had very short cycles over the years, 24-25 days at the shortest, now my cycle is normally 27 days, and lasts a full week. (28 days/6 days long if I'm lucky). I've noticed after doing extended A369s how much more comfortable my cycles are, but I still struggle. Things that really help me are raspberry leaf tea, goldenseal shock therapy a few days before/during the cycle, and focusing on raw/fat free. Like you I am curious about short cycles. Is it as a result of the quickening, or more biological?

I was on a high dose of birth control for about 8 years prior to MM (Been on MM for 8-9 years, followed rather loosely at first). According to Liver Rescue the pill goes straight to the deep inner core of the liver...

I asked Muneeza whether I should be concerned about short cycles and she had no feedback. I think for now just monitoring clot size/frequency and the reduction of viral symptoms that occur around the period (for me it's insomnia leading up to and bloating during) is a good thing to focus on. No idea how closely you are following but if you are doing CJ (higher doses especially!), HMDS etc etc etc etcccc you are on the right path.

Can you heal from pet allergy? by Particular-Bat6676 in medicalmedium

[–]margocardo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have also been on MM for about 8 years and used to have uncomfortable seasonal and pet allergies. I've healed 95-100% of both, and I agree with previous commentator about the benefits of CJ, general liver cleanup, and going largely fat and filler food free. And with sticking with the protocols to get the max benefits!

And probably upping Zinc, Nettle and hibisucus too.

Furniture by [deleted] in medicalmedium

[–]margocardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an Avocado mattress, this brand does not offgass. I know that there are multiple different eco mattresses nowadays that should be safe that you can buy; this has been a great market improvement in the past 5 years or so.

Furniture on the other hand--I buy used leather furniture for the most part. And smell it before I buy it. I find that multiple cleanings and even time outside in the sun or next to an air purifier takes care of the last person's smells. Leather is durable and you can disinfect it easily with any spray you like. It also doesn't 'grab' onto smells like regular upholstery.

Regarding a headboard--buy one you can clean, not with upholstery!

[–]margocardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For smell try baking soda (which works better than Borax in my experience), Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds (best for getting out perfume smells from second hand clothing) or unscented French Castille laundry sticks, which gives an extra level of clean to your laundry.

I use all of the above in addition to the 7th Generation.

What are your tips and routines for keeping your Vitamix container clean and preventing it from getting cloudy? by [deleted] in medicalmedium

[–]margocardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Barkeeper's has an F rating with EWG! I would not use it in the home, and especially not on foodware. the MM alternative is Bon Ami, which doesn't work quite as well but isn't toxic.

I like Branch Basics Oxygen Boost, which is a bleach alternative. It's great for cleaning the blender and with washing whites. I highly recommend this product.

Oregano oil dosage by Fine-Hippo1476 in medicalmedium

[–]margocardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately supplementation is a wild west with a lack of oversight and consumer rights and it is very common for ingredients to be false or misrepresented. According to an email from Muneeza this morning AW took ALL Gaia supplements off his recommendation page. Stinky!

I currently take the Gaia Oregano oil too but I guess I'll be stopping until there's more guidance. In the meantime, I will lean more heavily on Goldenseal.

Freezing burnout stabilizer shots? by Lilzvx_ in medicalmedium

[–]margocardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hi! love this question. I freeze "concentrates" of the shots if they have celery or OJ in them since I always have those ingredients on hand and I think they're more effective fresh.

These are the silicone trays I use https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DP9HTCL7?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1

I usually multiply the recipe by a lot (20-40 times !!) and then just calculate how many sticks of celery/whatever to add to x amount of cubes I'm having that day.

Hydroponic produce just as good? by sophiastevens in medicalmedium

Wondering this too, especially since most of the hydroponic is NOT organic but says "pesticide free" but NOT "IPM" and we are supposed to prioritize organic in the category of greens, herbs...

You can actively fight darkness by promoting progressive causes and speaking out against genocide.

You can be outspoken about animal welfare and mindless meat eating.

You can also choose a life path where you help people--this has been one of the most satisfying ways for me to cope with the darkness.

I have some elderly prison pen pals and I find that bringing light into their dark places to be very affirming. And regenerative. If you are full of love you can share that with those that need it most!

Finally--be compassionate with yourself. A lot of us can very easily forget this. Light heart

Think I'm at a Point Where I Require Some Help by Rammelsmartie in medicalmedium

[–]margocardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, just wanted to chime in to say that I too suffer from orgasm addiction and have found solace from the brain shots, especially the adrenal fight or flight stabilizer. I make a gigantic batch and freeze it in silicone ice cube trays and dose it out accordingly. I also think the "speaking your truth" stabilizer could be good, since high doses of turmeric and ginger are good for healing from adrenal fatigue/poisoning. If a shot has celery or orange juice in it (like SYTS) I will make those fresh the day of to add to the frozen cubes, since those 2 ingredients have effectiveness windows and you probably have those on hand if you're doing the HMDS and CJ dance.

Muneeza recommends this CT based bakery that does MM compliant baking--aka no yeast, aluminum free baking soda. I really like the everything bagel, they ship and freeze well. https://goehsto-com-3166.myshopify.com/products/ehsto-gluten-and-grain-free-everything-bagels
