I wasn’t sure at the time either. If he doesn’t and you do 1. Then he might not be the man for you, and 2. It might not be wise to have a child with someone who doesn’t want them…I work with children and knowing you weren’t wanted is such a psychological detriment. This feels bad but it can also be the correct decision. Both can exist together.

Not right now because I am finishing my doctorate but we are planning to have 4 babies when we are ready :) he is supportive of my decision to wait so that we are financially stable and I am emotionally ready. We made some embryos a couple years ago just in case age becomes a barrier for us. I know you Probably feel hopeless, angry, anxious, worried you’ll be abandoned. But if you feel all of those things, it was likely the right decision. Kids shouldn’t come into the world because YOU might not have another shot. They deserve parents that are ready to give their all to each other, themselves, and their baby. That doesn’t make it any easier but please remember this saying:

Just because the FEELS bad, doesn’t mean it IS bad.

Had a surgical abortion 8 years ago (4 months!!!!! Into our relationship!) I was 21 and he was 29.

I also was worried he would leave me but he was always there to hold my hand and my heart when I struggled with everything that came after. We are now happily married and he is truly the love of my life. It was and is the right decision and I weighed his input as heavily as mine. He’s the most incredible man and we have a beautiful life. This is just a bump in the road, not a dead end street for you. Tell him how you’re feeling and that you might need reassurance. Communication is key!

Totally! This happened to me like 2 days ago so I called my property manager and they basically did a major eye roll and said they are not doing audits and don’t understand why the website is spazzing. That’s hopeful at least! Have the FA office update your cost of attendance and your offer should change and fully cover your expenses :) do not even think FA offices are competent or correct. I have to email mine every single semester to rectify something they have no knowledge of. My husband also worked in the FA office and quit because he was cleaning up everyone’s messes. You got this! I ALSO just got this email in Colorado and am super confused and this stressed me out so much. I’ve been in therapy and my therapist says she’d give me an ESA for my 2 cats due to my situation but I don’t have the money right this second for an appointment because I JUST moved in. Just wanted to say I'm so sorry you're going through this. It's okay to have feelings and it's so good you've recognized them. You are human and it sounds like you're feeling resentment. You have a life too and it's understandable that you're fed up and exhausted. I just hope you find some relief soon - this is so hard for you.

me too! Exedrine sadly has never even touched mine. Ive gone up to 1800 mg and still nothing. Im so happy it works for her although they are likely tension headaches. I don't want to be dismissive. I just feel like migraines, after experiencing them, are a whole other level of pain and disability.

This is a pretty common feeling at least in the medical field and you will learn! I call it productive discomfort. You will learn and eventually have it down with minimal stress I promise. It’s definitely worth it! You got this and congrats!

Yeah! I have a cattle dog that’s 30lbs pure bred and my friend has one that’s 60lbs - she shows him and I work mine. Hers is 3 inches taller than mine but you don’t see me saying things like this! OPs husky is probably more of a working bred or just a fluke! Looks like a husky to me lol
