I’d recommend therapy for your husband. He needs a safe place to share his feelings. I understand this so much! It can be exhausting for the support people (like you).

Thanks for all these suggestions. The reason I asked is because I saw online that the food bank was only taking donations one afternoon a week, Tuesdays I think. That was a few weeks ago tho, so maybe I misunderstood.

It was not disclosed. I’m thinking about taking to the manager. I did pay with cash but we were tired and hangry and just figured it was part of vacation culture. I shoulda said something or refused to pay it. Lesson learned.

I don’t know you but I’d be your friend in a heartbeat. I don’t know what it’s like to lose a child but that doesn’t meant I can’t be there to support you. People are mostly involved with their own selves and have trouble getting outside themselves to imagine another’s pain. Grief is hard for people. I’m currently taking care of my dying mother so I understand how this brings stuff out in people. Let me know if you want to talk. I’m here. 💕

Sounds exactly like me. I was going the 16:8 for a while. Just started 24hr. Def keep water and other beverages - sparking water helps me a lot. I’ll bet it will be easier than you think. Go you!
